He sighed as he walked, he wasn't really that engergetic at that moment He normally would be out and around these lands running like mad. Enjyoing himself but he didn't want to run he just wanted to relax, he kind of wanted to lay down but something kept his paws moving, through the grasses of the ground, he was heading back toward his current home of the ocean.

Life was turning out to be quite an adventure. She had strayed from her family long ago, but she wasnt lost as most would be. She had taken to trying to care for herself, though all she knew was it was damned hard.
Her red orbs blinked as she stared out into the savannah.
It was growing dark, and the sun was hitting the plains and turning the sky purple and shades of pink.
It was rather beautiful.
The juvenile strutted her stuff, unknowing of who all would be around, and not really caring.
She was always the independent one. So if no one was around to share in her joy and treasures she found, then the more for her.
But the gray teen caught her eyes almost immediantly. She wasnt one to let something pass right by without a word.
"Hey, you!"
She called out, dashing over on shorter legs than it seemed the male had.

Nazih'Matata sighed thoug his nose he was starting to smell the saltly smell of the ocean hit his nose. But that wasn't the only thing. He smelt another, but it was behind him, in his mind he was just thinking it was some one passing by, thats what it ended up being most of the time. He sighed and shook his head as he continued on that was until he heard a voice.
His attention snapped back and he looked at the younger lioness coming at him. The sight made him arch his brow and make a small face. Why was this lioness coming at him? She was young she might have got hurt if it was anyone else.
"Hey." He called back, as he thought, he used to be the same way, just running up to some one even if they were bigger than himself. He used to do it all of the time. It made him chuckle slightly. The thoughts he had before were still going through his mind but this was a distraction. Yes, distractions.

She huffed as she seemed out of breath as she caught up with him.
A smile forming on her maw, she blinked a bit.
"Ive been looking all day for someone to keep me company..Could you use some?"
She asked, matching his pace beside him.
She had always been rather forward, a trait, that she herself adored.
She wasnt a scaredy cat like others she knew.
Giving a flick of her red tipped tail, the ivory female smiled once more.
"Names Valenera.."

Nazih looked down at the younger lioness a little confused. He still wasn't that sure why she was just wandering right up to him did he really look that friendly? He shrugged it off thens smiled as he looked down at the female. "I guess, I really don't see why not..."
He smiled as he looked down at her she did remind him of himself. Wandering straight up to some one. He used to do that so much. He hadn't as much, he wasn't exactly in the best mood lately and hadn't been bravely walking up to others. He wanted to be alone some times.
"Hello Valenera, my name is Nazih." He gave her a bow. "Its nice to meet you."

She giggled a little at the bow, and did aform of bow herself to match him.
"Its nice to meet you Nazih."
She said, keeping up with him, and sort of strutting along with him.
"Well Imglad..Because Im tired of being alone."
She said in a bit of a pout.
"I need someone to talk to before I go Crazy!"
She said, eyes somewhat widening but then resuming their naturalposition.
"So, whatcha doin' out here?"

Nazih slowed down his pace a lot as he walked, letting the younger lion keep up with him easier. He licked his lips as he walked he knew home was getting closer and thats where he wanted to go... This cub following him wasn't that bad right?
"WEll, I'm glad that I can give you come company for a bit." He smiled down at her before flicking his tail abour chuckling at what the younger female was saying, younger ones were so entertaining some times. "I'm heading back home from a little outing. What about you little one?" He asked looking down at her. Cubs were so entertaining some times to him.

"I was explorin'..Then I decided I hadnt gone far enough, so I went a little further, and thenI saw you..In allactuality, I have no idea how I came to be here, but it could be worse."
She said with a nod and agrin.
She wasnt a pessimistic lion cub, that was for sure. She enjoyed looking at things like the glass half full.
"So,Nazih, Where are you from? Do you have a pack?"
She asked, littler pawsthan his keepinguprather well.
She didnt come froma pride..Or, well..From what she remembered..She had amother, a family, but she had sense lost touch with them, even as young as she truly was.

Nazih looked down at the cub and chuckled softly. "What about your parents. Won't they be a little mad they you arn't home at this moment and wandering around and walking up to strange lions?" He asked teasing her slightly, but really he was wondering about this little cub's parents. He knew it was hard to surivie with out parents. If it wasn't for Rana he would be out of luck right now. Either really unhealthy or even dead. He was so greatful toward her.
"I'm from around here." He nodded, he didn't have to go into the whole story about his family and his father not really being his father and his pride dying. The idea made him shiver slightly. "I don't have a pride but I live with my adoptive family. Well really an adoptive mother and her friend." He shrugged the idea, Sadiki was close to family but that was his friend.

She smiled, shaking her head.
Closest thing she had to family and parents, was Geheim, the male Hyena who was watching over a daughter of his own. Esperanza had begun to be quite considerably like her own sister.
"Naw, he doesnt care too much.. He really doesnt want me there at all, so me being a little late after dark, doesnt bother him."
She said with a giggle, flicking her tail.
"Oh thats neat. I wonder what its like to belong to a pride."
She said, looking to the sky and thinking.

Nazih'Matata looked down at the cub arching a brow at the little cub. That was odd... "Wow, little one I'm not that sure how good it is to be out on your own all the time." He then shrugged and shook his head. "But it is up to you." He gave her a small smile before slicking his hair out of his eyes again.
"Yeah its pretty cool." He smiled, he liked having some place where he belonged. Then his tail flicked stiffly. "Well... Its different thats for sure. Pride life is good some times others is just... Well cruel The one I belonged to was good. But there was one who attacked my pride... I can say they weren't the best." He shrugged once more then gave the little female a half smile.

She smiled, and then looked woefully at the ground. But she did not miss being around her family. She had not known them before she had gotten lost, and now was with Geheim.
She knew Geheim cared about where she went, but the Hyena father had not been able to keep the youngster at home, so his efforts eventually stopped.
He had grown weary of trying.
She was a hard cub to keep around in one place.
"Its okay, its my fault really."
She smiled again flicking her tail listening to his story.
Her face dropped at the word attack, and she looked at him sadly.
"Im sorry Nzi..That isnt good at all."

Nazih chuckled softly at the younger female saying that it was her fault, it was an interesting thing to say. He was on his own most of the time, it wasn't his fault but it was his choice, but once Rana found him he didn't want to leave her side, he didn't want to be on his own again. Then her apologizing for his past his ears twitched but he kept them from flattening against his skull.
"Its okay... I have a new family now." He cleared his throat as he straightened his pose more standing up as straight at he could, trying to hide the fact that even though he loved his adoptive family lots he still wished he had at least his mother, or even his older brother, or who he thought was his older brother.

She smiled.
"Well good, A family is a familyis a family after all."
She said standinga bit taller and a bit more proud.
She looked at teh sky, noticing that it was getting darker and the trip would be perilous home if she did not return rather soon.
She smiled, giving him a nudge.
"Well, its getting a littlelate.. I think I should probably be heading home now. Thanks for talking with me."
She said with a wink.
She had made a new friend!

Nazih was caught off guard by the female's change in mood. She was already heading back. He arched a brow for a moment as he looked at her before shrugging it off.
"Alright little one! Be safe!" He called out as he watched her start to walk away. He flicked his tail behind him and chuckled slightly turning his attention back to where his family... was. He lifted his head and started to walk back home. Cubs weren't that bad some times.
