Seaside Suites: Spread out around the loop road, these upper-class apartments are there for richer tourists summering on the island and upper-middle class families from Delmor who can't afford to buy a house or are currently in the housing market. McMansions: Spread out along the loop road, but mostly on the eastern side of the islandinsula. They are spread out far enough and have enough trees between them so that one cannot see their neighbors. People who live here - (who plays them) - and their addresses: with descriptionsRowena Lasairona - (Nivedita Vidula) - 653 Shady River Stead: Rowena lives in a very large gated McMansion in the mid-eastern side of Delmor. She lives mostly alone in the woods, except the butler and housemaid because her father is busy abroad as a shady businessman. The house is very nicely set up with priceless artifacts from her father's trips and there is hardly a mess to be found in the entire house ever. Uninterested in anything other than herself, Rowena's home is unique from others in the area because it does not have a stable out back. Tehra LeVerryn- (a91nicole)- 152 Silent Robin Run: Tehra lives in one of the nicer apartments of town, it has a normal sized living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a pool and a small pond at her apartment complex. The apartment is tastefully decorate, mostly in shades of deep red and gold. Tehra sleeps in a queen size Victorian style bed set made of classic dark wood. There are a few prints on the walls, but since she is new to town she hasn't collected much. Tehra keeps her Guardian uniform and blade in a hidden compartment in the back of her closet. She doesn't know many neighbors yet, but she hopes to. Clarice Devereaux - (tairfeng) - 723 Zephyr Woods: Surrounding the property is an ivy covered stone wall, only about four feet high, which is more for decoration than to keep anything out. The front gate opens to display a shady lane of pea gravel leading up to the house. The house is slightly smaller than the other McMansions, and is made of a pale stone. Immediately surrounding the home is a 'garden' of wildflowers. Out back is a small stable housing four horses- a thoroughbred, a quarter horse, an Arabian, and a miniature horse. Not far from there is a small corral where the horses are sometimes let into if weather permits. Inside the house is sparcely decorated in the modern style- chrome and glass make up the majority of the surfaces. Tommy Keith Lirik - (ice_demon_hiro) - 712 Zephyr Woods: A medium sized mcmansion with a red color scheme. The mcmansion is surrounded by a tall wall of trees, to keep unwanted attention out. The landscape is simple, a few lawn gnomes and statues, nothing big. A red brick walkway leads from the front door to the driveway. The Lirik family moved in recently. The security system hasn't been fully installed yet however. Wolfgang Becker/Schädelchen - (AlmaPheonix) - 121 Silent Robin Run : An new building designed to look like older than it is, this is Chen's Loft. He owns the whole building, two floors, a upper roof patio, and modest yard. It could host a few people but he remodel to fit him. Just like the small gardens outside, the first floor is more like a forest with plants at every turn. The second is like a normal home, a kitchen, a deluxe bathroom complete with large bath, two bedrooms and a study. The whole floor is decorated as if it were a forest at night mixed with a German accent, dark walls and furniture then a few more plants. There is always faint woods-like music playing when he's home. Beware the odd raven that lives on the first floor. Jason and Violet Malloy - (AngelicTurtle)624 Shady River Stead: The mansion itself lies concealed amidst a sprawling landscape, meticulously trimmed and maintained to the owner's precise specifications. At the end of a "quaint" stone path leading along fountains and bushes trimmed into animal shapes, the mansion's great, pristine white structure appears almost oppressive. Windows two stories tall peer down at the viewer, tinted so that they can be seen out of but not into. Inside, a visitor is greeted by massive marble halls, furnished sparsely with an occasional flower pot or wall hanging. The rooms themselves--including two well-stocked libraries and six bedrooms (out of which only two are actually occupied)--are far more inviting, but a visitor to the mansion will be disappointed to find that nearly every door is locked to outsiders. ???
Anyone interested in having a listing in this location should PM Nivedita Vidula with the following information: Housing Location(burbs, hotel, suites, etc) Character Name - (user name) - Desired Address: Quick Description of the home

A gentle knock on the front door alerted Rowena to the presence of her new guest. Sighing and putting her book down on the leather couch in the sitting room, Rowena sulked to the door. It had taken this new man with a strange name a few days to get here. Since he was to be her teacher, she thought it ought to be appropriate for her to open the door herself. Unlocking the large door, she opened it cautiously, and was taken aback by the appearance of the little man with even fewer belongings. She immeditately sensed a calm and collected pressence around him, and she relaxed.
Lama Akar bowed to Rowena, "I am deeply honored to meet you," he said in a thick accent, "I am Lama Akar." Instinctively, and awkwardly, Rowena bowed back to him in her short skirt. "Umm....Come in sir. I uh, can show you the room I made for you, if you want to put your...umm, things down..."
"That won't be neccesary. Let us get right to work. Do you have a teapot?"
"Yes, Right this way..." Rowena showed him to the kitchen where Lama Akar went to work preparing some hot water and stirring in an icky looking green powder. She sat quietly. The recent events at the high school and her wound had humbled her more than she cared to say, and her father's dissapointment only made it worse. If he believed that learning from a Tibetan Monk would help her, she was willing to give it a shot. Rowena leaned against the kitchen island and watched Lama Akar purposefully mixing the, heating the water just so, selecting the proper amount of powder, pouring it into little porcelain cups in equal amounts. The silence was defeaning, and Rowena needed to break it up. "So...Did my father explain to you what you were here for?"
"Of course, Little One. He explained you were in need of some guidance in developing mental discipline, and that I was to be your personal tutor until you were deemed ready to return to school. But that will all come in time. Now drink your tea." The kindly old man passed a porcelain cup to the young girl.
Rowena, sniffed the liquid and took a sip, silently gagging at the taste of the sugarless green tea, but after choking down the small cup she noticed a warm sensation spreading through her body. Something on her face itched, and she instinctively reached up to scratch.
Rowena dropped her cup and her jaw. Her stitches were gone, and she had no scar from the infection! It was a miracle... "Is this one of the things you can teach me, Lama Akar?"
"All in time, little one. Now have another cup. The tea will help cleanse your body and your mind will follow. In the meantime we will be eating a vegetarian diet so as not to defile our bodies with negative karma. We will rise with the sun and begin prayers, eat a morning meal, and then expand your study in the afternoon with science, math, history, and english lessons. After a second larger meal we will spend the rest of the day on your mental training. Just before the sun goes down we will clean ourselves, finish the day with meditation, chanting, and prostrations, and sleep. But first, you are in need of a change." Lama Akar pulled from his sack a simple white robe and a set of prayer beads. "Please change into this robe. You will wear it until you have finished your training. You must separate yourself from your ego. The beads are called mala and you will use them when we pray. You will say each prayer for each bead on the string."
Rowena nodded and took the robe, ducking into the side bathroom to change. If her father trusted this man, she would trust his wisdom. Her father was not a fool, and if she had to lower herself to wearing a sheet of scratchy fabric for months, then she would do it. Being a vegetarian didn't sound so bad either, since she'd be able to lean down and and lose some weight before the prom. If she could go. Rowena unbraided her hair and pulled it back into a bun. it would be much easier to manage that way. Rowena stepped out of the bathroom, and found a third cup of tea waiting for her. Lama Akar seemed pleased with the transformation.
"Ah, yes....Much Better."

<< Profile She returned home through the window of her fourth story apartment, exhausted and a bit bloody. There had been a nasty criminal roaming tonight, and he'd pulled a knife on the girl. It wasn't anything Tehra couldn't handle, but after moving only a few days earlier and running on almost no sleep, the fallen had been caught off guard. She landed lightly on the ground, her wings fading away and her eyes returning to their natural shade of teal. Tehra barely had the energy to shut the window, much less change out of her Guardian uniform. Tehra looked in the mirror, her curls were missing much bounce, and her face and arms had a bit of dried blood on them. She desperately needed a shower. Her teal eyes cast a sidelong glance at the clock- the most evil thing in the world in Tehra's mind. It was one thirty in the morning. She had to get up for school at six thirty. Tehra let out an exasperated sigh, knowing she would be sleeping in first period tomorrow. She drudged her way to the shower, changing out of her uniform as she made her way there. After a quick rinse, the fallen fell onto her bed gratefully, sleep overtook her almost instantly. The next morning, Tehra nearly subjected her alarm clock to a tragic death by stuffed animal as it buzzed her awake. She knew she had to get up, however, and thus she grudgingly got out of bed. Tehra was ready shortly, and she left her house to survive another tiring day of high school education.

Rowena was sitting quietly for perhaps the first time in her life that she was not near her father. She was deep in concentration, silently praying a mantra and counting the small white beads on the strand wrapped around her hand. Her academics had been vastly improving since the first time she sat humbly before Lama Akar drinking tea, and she knew she had him to thank for it. It was a pity that she would ultimately use the gifts that the peaceful man had given her to betray him and seek her own greater good and the manipulation of other people. Not to mention the vegetarian diet had helped her lose almost five pounds already and she still had a month before the prom. A sly grin spread across her face. "Relax your face. You must be comfortable and aware of everything around you. Make your body and mind a mirror to the calm of the wood around you." "Yes, Lama Akar." She did still have some learning to do.

<<< Previously Alma got out of the car and followed Tehra. She had no idea where anything was on this crazy rock since she had moved here on Saturday. During the drive, she had gotten completely confused on how to get to the apartment complex. She looked around and saw a large estate in the distance. Shrugging, she returned her gaze to her new friend and followed her in. "So, where are we, exactly?" Alma realized that must have sounded a little odd so she added, "I mean, I know we're at your apartment but..." She looked around at the expensive houses and the like, "Where are we in Delmor? I still haven't gotten my bearings of this place yet..."

"Its alright, I only know it cause I've explored it a LOT." Tehra of course, was referring to her nightly pastime, but to others it would sound completely normal. "We are around the northwest side. A lot of the Richy McMillions live here, they don't really talk to their neighbors much. I haven't actually met any." she sighed as she unlocked her apartment door, revealing the medium sized room with a few doors-one to the front bathroom, one to her bedroom, and one to the guest room. The kitchen was attached to the living room as it is in most apartments. The decorations were tasteful and interesting. "It's not a McMillion House, but it certainly does well for me." She smiled as she set her stuff down and walked into the kitchen "You want any drinks or snacks Alma?"

"Ug, by what you told me, seems like the rich people don't like to talk to their neighbors?" Alma snickered, "So the northwest side? And the rich area? Hm, I live in the suburbs. And either milk or water's fine, unless you have juice." Alma walked in and looked around. The place was nicely decorated but not overly so. It wasn't like everything was so neat or expensive looking that it would cause a nervousness about just sitting on the sofa, fearing that there would be fees for damaging it. As such, the girl moved to living room as Tehra entered the kitchen. As walking up to a sofa, she turned to the sofa's owner. "Can I sit?"

"Yeah that's totally cool... Make yourself at home Alma. You won't break the furniture I promise." She smirked lightly. "I have apple juice if you like that. I keep it cause I love apples. I have applesauce too.." Tehra chuckled lightly "I'm such a kid sometimes...." She poured herself a glass of apple juice and poured one for Alma as well. She carried them back to the girl and sat on the couch beside her, setting the glasses on the table. "Do you like movies?"

"Movies?" Alma thought for a second, "Well, I liked Steel Man and Pirates of the Mediterranean but I hated the third movie. The writers could have planned a better ending. Seriously, how does having Rob not being able to see Emily for five years a happy ending? But I also enjoyed the Dark Paladin, and loved the Jester...." Alma actually did love the Jester from that movie. He had no motive except just to do stuff. ((Hope you can see which movies I'm spoofing.))

"Ah yes those are some great movies. Have you ever seen Styling Product or Specter of the Opus?" Tehra said as she pulled out the Dvds "I love musicals, I always have. What about video games? You play those?"

"Actually, I have seen those. I really enjoyed Specter, even though I cry at the end," a small smile crossed Alma's face, "Vid games? I play quite a few. Let's see, there's Legend of Zeta and The Globe Ceases By You. There's also Autumn Lune, Realm of Hearts, and Lupo but I haven't played them for a while." Alma took the apple juice and sipped it. Simple and sweet, almost calming. She leaned back on the sofa and watched Tehra pulling out DVDs. It felt safe here for some reason... ((I edited Empire Souls to Realm of Hearts cuz it's easier to understand.)) [[Translation: The Globe Ceases By You = The World Ends With You, Autumn Lune = Harvest Moon, and Lupo = Ookami]]

Tehra smiled. "My favorite is most definately Realm of Hearts" She pulled out the game box, with the brown haired boy pictured on the front with his key sword. "Its so much fun. Have you played it? What about Spirit Quality 5?" Tehra was finding herself rather enjoying Alma's prescence. The girl seemed a bit misunderstood but rather nice. The pink haired girl hoped they would be good friends.
(I'm afraid I need you to translate some of those games lol, all but Zeta)

"Realm of Hearts is good but it's been a bit since I've played it, and only the first one too. Spirit Quality 5? Sounds a little familiar..." Alma pondered this calmly. Her mind wandered almost a second later and she found herself thinking about how Tehra was, for one reason or another, not saying anything that really brought any emotions forth. It might have just been because the pink-haired girl still didn't know her that well but for as long as Alma had known her, Tehra seemed to be the time that was mindful of others feelings. That made Alma smile a little more. There was someone that did not want to get her all wound up for no other reason than to see her that way. ((You'll need to translate Spirit Quality 5, I don't recognize it...))

Tehra flipped on the tv, turning it to some mindless reality show or another. "These shows are so strange... I can't believe someone thought of them. I really wouldn't have thought people would like to watch angry, mean, and stupid people do weird things. But I have to say, I'm addicted to them too.." She laughed lightly. "Have you ever had a boyfriend...?" Tehra asked, the show being some kind of dating show.
