There were a few children at the park when the two arrived, but it was still early, and the snow on the ground was mostly undisturbed.
"Go on, Iamie," Iason prodded, setting up under on of the parks covered picnic tables. "Why don't you build a snowman?"
The boy didn't have to be told twice, and darted off, his new snow boots leaving imprints. He was bundled up rather heavily,even if he didn't really match, with a sweater underneath his bright blue coat, his orange scarf hat, and a pair of neon green waterproof gloves. He scooped up a handful of snow, patting it into a ball. "Like this 'Ason?"
"That's right. Now make it bigger. Let me know if you need help, alright?"
"Kay!" He set it down on the ground, kneeling beside it, and began to push it through the snow.

“Whoa…” The young calico gazed in awe at the park’s lovely white surface. “Ma!” Nora turned her attention to the woman casually following behind her. “Look!”
The woman smiled at the sight of her “daughter’s” amazement at the snow, her careful steps matching Nora’s. After seeing her mother’s mimicking, the cat suddenly broke into a gleeful hop into the ice.
“N-Nora?!” Sejii gave chase, but to no avail as Nora vanished into the park. “Ah, well…” The mother said, grinning to herself. “She just does that, I guess.
The calico hid herself in the ice, her winter clothing gathering some of the snow that enveloped her. She watched the grounds beyond her for a while, finally noticing a small boy yards ahead. Upon further inspection, she saw the boy’s large ears. Nora’s ears flicked back, grinning widely. Soon, she lunged towards the eared boy, stopping her bounds inches away from the boy, still in her toothy grin. “’Lo!” She announced, finally rising to stand on two feet.

Iamie's ears twitched, hearing the girl approach. "Hiya!" he said, waving a snow covered glove. "Wanna help? I'm building a snowman. 'Ason's got a scarf and a hat, and a carrot, and a bunch of other stuff to decorate it with once I get it big enough."
He grinned happily, hoping the girl would join him. He hadn't met very many people around his own age, most of them were much older.
