Which I just found out about recently. The Rose of Versailles, also known as Lady Oscar depending on the country. It's appearantly a rather famous manga, and anime, in Japan that was translated into about 4 different languages. Never English though... Anyone ever heard of it, seen it? I thought it was amazing, and I usually don't care for shoujo.

Same here, I think I've heard the name somewhere before, but was never that interested... I guess I'll try to see if anyone still have subbed versions of the Japanese originals still up... (I'm not a big fan of dubs... sweatdrop )

There's no English dubs, just fan subs. You could try Youtube, stuff always ends up there once in a while no matter how often it's taken down.
