Yeah, the first animal crossing is a N64 game called animal forest.It was popular in Japan,but when they made an english version the N64 games where going down so it was a Japan exclusive,and it never came anywhere else.If you don't believe me google animal forest it will have it.

I never played Animal Forest, but I do know it exists. I've seen a few vids of people playing it too.

I always wanted to get it, but I could never find it and on ebay it would get really expensive.

I knew that because my hubby bought that game tons of years before we met. Since he's into imported games, he got that game a little before the GC version came to America.
I like the original name,
