Courant MansionThe Courant Mansion is the residential place of the two Courant Brothers: Envy and Shin Courant. The Courant Brothers are two popular men in the City of Rabanastre. Not only are they known because of their looks, but because of their prowess as well. The mansion is pained white with blue curtains. The door has columns that welcomes visitors. The floor is marble inside, but the kitchen floor is wooden. The kitchen is mostly used by Envy Courant, he loves to cook for his brother and any other visitors. The table is marble as well, very expensive. There are six rooms in the Courant Mansion, two downstairs, and the other four are located on the second floor. There is a large living room downstairs, and a living room half the size of the first one upstairs as well. Plasma TVs that appear when a part of the wall rises. The expensive TVs are hidden, the others are just displayed for quick entertainment. A video game console is set on the upstairs living room and a large fish aquarium is one of the most beautiful sights in their mansion. They have a large front lawn with a personal gardener to garden it for them. The house is one of the most famous custom built houses here in Rabanastre!

“ I'd Rather Be Deaf, Before I Hear You Cry. Blind, Before I See You Get Hurt, And Dead Before I See You Get Taken Away From Me Forever. ”  INDENT [" M] mmm.. " A young man said as he laid on his queen sized bed. He opened his eyes, revealing the grey colored irises. He stared at the ceiling for quite a moment and then sat up on his bed, taking the thick white blankets off of him. The young gentleman got off his bed and lazily walked towards the bathroom that was located in his room as well. This young man was Envy Courant, one of the Courant Brothers. Envy is a Rabanastre kid, aged sixteen, stands tall as 6'2, and weighs 167 pounds. He has a muscular body, a semi-long hair, and one of the boys in town that was a lady's choice for a man.
Envy washed his face after walking into the bathroom and used the toilet. He then walked out and lazily walked out of his room and stretched, yawning all at the same time. He stopped for a moment and looked off the balcony in the second floor that overlooked the first floor. He rubbed his eye lids with a finger and then looked over towards his brother's room. " Is he even awake..? " Envy asked himself, talking to himself again. Envy walked further and went downstairs to get some breakfast, or to be more specific, to make breakfast.
Envy reached the kitchen and started to take stuff out of the refrigerator and preparing them for breakfast. " Toaster. " Envy said, suddenly the toaster went on and started to heat up. Envy threw two slices of bread in that direction and fell into the toaster slots. The young man smiled and looked at the stove. " On. " He said again, suddenly, the stove went on. Envy placed slices of bacon on the stove, which started to cook slowly. Envy, on the other side of the stove, was cooking scrambled eggs.

Sigh of tiredness came for a man standing on one arm pushing up and down and try to keep balance. His legs stick straight up in the air, sweat drip down of his shirtless body onto the ground. "46..47...48..49...50" said the man pushing off the ground making him jump back to his feet. He kneel down for a few moments to catch his breath for his morning work out. He look around the rather large room that look like a Japanese Dojo. he saw a white towel on the rack, he pick it to whip off the sweat. This man was Shinka Courant the Eldest Brother of Courants, his looks and strength know through Altantis. He stood 6'3 feet and he weighs 170 pounds. As he left the room he started to smell breakfast, "It seems he is up" he mutter to himself. Walking down the halls a white fox ran up Shin leg and up to his right shoulder. Shin look at the fox, "Its nice to see you too, Zuki" Shin said with a smile. He walked into the kitchen and saw Envy is Youngest Brother cooking. "Good Morning Envy" Shin said as he walked to the counter and got a glass; he went to the fridge and got a the milk. He pour himself a glass and started to gulp it down.

" Mornin' bro. " He said with a smile as suddenly, the bread jumped out of the toaster slots and returned back to it's proper toaster slots position. " Breakfast will be ready in a bit. " Envy said, smiling at him. He grabbed a small plate as he puts the two toasted bread on there and took out a butter knife and placed it on top of the two stacked breads. He then took out butter, peanut butter, and strawberry jam and placed it on the counter.
Envy finished cooking the bacon and the scrambled eggs now as well, placing bacon and eggs evenly in two plates: One for Shin and one for himself. He placed the two plates on the counter. After, he grabbed a bowl and filled it with milk, placing it near the counter, but on the floor. This bowl was for Shin's fox, Zuki. " There you go, Zuki. " Envy said as he patted the pet fox as soon as it came closer. The halo that hovered above the boy's head started to hover around the kitchen, then landed on the ground, turning into a leopard or a tiger-looking type of animal.
The halo that turned into an animal gave off a white colored glow and aura, because of the halo's energy power. Anyone who touched it was always burnt, but Shin and Zuki was always able to do so. They didn't feel any pain, unless it was intended during a spar or a small battle. Though, in normal situations like these, they would have normally been burned, but they weren't. " Haha, I guess the halo would like some too. " Envy said, as he filled another bowl for the newly transformed tiger. He placed it next to Zuki's and the two drank together. Even the halo had a mind of it's own. Envy sat on the counter and looked at Shin, then looked at his plate. Envy usually waited until Shin sat down, since they both usually ate the same time.

Shin sat down at the table with the plate in front of him. He smile seeing Zuki drink his milk calmly until Envy halo turn to a tiger and started to drink as well. Zuki look up and down at the glowing white tiger and then he transform into a White Tiger cub. Zuki was a shapeshifter, she can transform into any animal she wants, usually to animals she sees at that moment. If the animal is big she transform into a smaller version. Shin look at Envy and said, "Can't eat at the table like a normal person" he said to Envy. Shin close his eyes like he was pray, but he wasn't then he softly said, "Off" and the stove shut off. "Next time remember to turn it off when you are done" he said. He picked up the piece of bread and was about to take a bite out of it.

" Sorry. " Envy said as he started to eat too. He took a bite from the bread and the other food as well. The halo tiger looked at the newly transformed Zuki and purred slowly, then started to drink once more. " Are you going anywhere today, Shin? " Envy asked him, wondering if his brother was going anywhere after eating.
Envy looked towards Shin waiting for a reply, wondering what he was going to say.

Shin ate quietly for a few moments before he answers Envy question. As he finish whip his face with a napkin, "The only thing I was going to do today I was go to town and find new marital for my practice dummy" he said. He look at Envy, "Unless you want to be the practice dummy?" he asked with a smile. He was making fun of Envy and asking for a spar at the same time. He got up and put his dishes in the sink and waited for Envy reply.

" You'd just be beaten again though. " Envy said, being sure that he would win again. They're sparring records were quite evened out, it was almost half of them were losses and half of them were wins. Envy placed his plate as soon as he finished in the sink as well, the sink automatically started to wash the dishes. The house was filled with modern futuristic appliances and things.
" Well, I'll go with you. " Envy said, smiling at Shin. He didn't want to be stuck at home all day. The glowing tiger looked at Envy and then nodded. It walked away from the bowl as soon as it finished and walked towards Envy, suddenly transforming into a larger white tiger, large enough for Envy to ride. It continued to give a white glow and aura. " I'll go get ready, yeah? " Envy asked.

Shin chuckle, "Don't get cocky Envy, remember last time you did" he said still chuckling. Shin stop laughing when Zuki was finish drinking the milk and ran up to his shoulder. Shin sighs seeing that his 'Tiger got bigger, "Your lazy" he mutter to himself. "Thats fine with me" he said about Envy going. Shin went to his room upstairs. He put on a white under shirt, a black jacket that is fluffy on top near his neck, black jeans, boots, and many ear piercing. No ones know why he wears so much, but it suits his bad boy look; however in reality he was a kind person. He went downstairs and waits for Envy, "You done yet?" asked Shin loud enough for his brother to hear.

Blind, Before I See You Get Hurt, And Dead Before I See You Get Taken Away From Me Forever. ” INDENT [E] nvy nodded and as soon as he rode his white tiger, they both charged upstairs into Envy's room. " Be ready in a bit! " Envy shouted out. The sixteen year old took his clothing off and replaced them with a black shirt, midnight blue colored jeans, and a black hoodie. Envy looked at the mirror to fix his semi-long hair, making it look somewhat spikey, yet making it look skater-ish as well.
Envy had a tattoo on his face, a line that crossed from left to right by his nose, or under his eyes, and a number by his left cheek. The numbers were 69. Nobody knew what it symbolized for. Envy smiled as soon as he was done and then rode his halo once again, then charged down. His hoodie was on, covering most of his hair except the front. He was also wearing black shoes, pretty much black everything. One of his favorite colors were black anyway.
" Well, I'm ready. " Envy said, smiling at his brother, then giving him a small laugh. " I mostly won though, by the way. " Envy said, continuing their conversation from a few minutes ago. He laughed and then patted the halo tiger on the head. It felt real, as if it was a real animal. Most people in Rabanastre knew not to touch his halo or anything it transformed into, the Courant Brothers were famous here in the city. Not just for their looks, but even for their strength. People wondered why they weren't in the military.

Once he was ready, Envy left. " I'll see you around town, bro. "

Shin nodded as Envy left the house. Shin was about to leave until he remember something and went back into the mansion. Leaning on the wall in the living room was a sword that had no hilt. He slip it in a slot behind him. Why would he bring a sword to just go too town? Shin then left with Zuki and his sword.

The entrance was already beautiful, something remarkable. The mansion was one of the best structures and views of Rabanastre. The mansion is painted white with blue curtains on the window, covering the inside of the house. The front of the house, or the door, had white columns that made the house look quite remarkable.
" Well, this is the Courant Mansion. Welcome to our home. Um.. My room might be a bit .. Messy. Since I didn't expect, nor did my brother, anyone to come. Your actually the first person to visit the inside of our house. "
Envy said. His blushing face was starting to fade and he was starting to act normal again. It was true, the princess did have a body. A face, and .. That's enough for now. Envy laughed to himself silently and opened the gate to the courtyard. He closed it as soon as Joy went in.
" Don't worry about guards coming here. They barely check this area and I know the guards here in Rabanastre. They know us as well. "
Envy said, smiling at the princess. He started to lead her to the columned area, at the door. There was door code on the side, he started punching in different numbers with three fingers. It was too fast to read what he had punched in. Envy smiled and the door beeped and then a clicking noise could be heard. The door had unlocked itself. Envy looked at Joy and nodded. He pushed the door open for Joy and waited for her to come in. A noise could be heard by the living room and Envy took a peak, it was their maid.
" Our maid is here too, but you don't have to worry about anything. You can trust her. "
Envy said, smiling and then continued to hold the door open for Joy. Even the inside was beautiful. Marbled floors, grand stair cases, large doors and rooms, and modern futuristic electronics, supplies, and appliances everywhere. It was like a dream house to a commoner. Though, the Royal Castle would be even more remarkable than this, but this would be quite surprising for a commoner's house.
" Make yourself at home, yeah? "

Following him closely, she thought that the mansion was beautiful but then again no one can compare a house to where she lived, she hated where she lived though. This place was so much more cozy then the huge castle, this place she couldn't get lost in at all, it seemed rather nice to rest at. When she walked in, she felt bad she was dripping some water on the floor, the poor maid probably hated her for being wet. The marble floor was nice, she nodded to his question "Okay" she said with a soft voice. Honestly she didn't expect something this marvelous from commoners, she thought that all of them had the same houses. Perhaps they were a special case even at such a young age, she didn't think much of it though.

He shook his head left and right and then looked at the maid and nodded at her. The maid just nodded back and smiled. One could say that she loved working for the Courants. Envy looked at Joy and smiled.
" Don't worry about it. Well, let's go up to my room alright? Don't mind the messes though.. Haha.. "
Envy said, a bit shy to show her his room. First impression was always something important. Envy was a clean person from time to time, when he felt like he should clean something, he actually does it. Though, he's been pretty lazy for the past few days, or maybe even weeks. Envy lead Joy up the grand stair case, telling her to watch her step, then leading her to the balcony on the second floor. The balcony wasn't outside, it was inside the house. He went to the last door, which was his room. Even his own door was large. Bigger than Envy, even.
" Well, this is my room. You can plop yourself down on the bed or on the couch. "
Envy said. His bed was queen sized, fit for at least two people. The bed was quite comfortable and it was pretty soft and bouncy too. Envy walked in his room and kicked some clothes out of the way for Joy. Some boxers were laying on the ground, shirts, jackets, and a few jeans were too. He scratched the back of his head and giggled to himself, quietly. He wanted to apologize for the mess, but he had already told her that he wasn't expecting her to come to his house.

Following him, she really did like the design of the house, she smiled a bit at how he saw it necessary to give her a mini tour until they got to his room. Holding onto the railing of the stair case, she didn't want to fall because her feet soaked the inside of her boots. However they were rather sturdy anyway so the chances of her falling was rather slim. Envy seemed to be enjoying her there until he had talked about the bedroom, was it really that bad? Joy Ann cleaned her own room and the maids always insisted on cleaning and doing the bed but she did it before they had a chance to even enter her room. Once the door opened, she quickly gulped, it was worse then what she had imagined. There were so many clothes around the floor, it wasn't surprising since her brothers had messy rooms as well. Worse then this actually, they had things crawling in theirs, she had even gotten lost in their closet a few times.
Looking at the bed she nodded, it looked nice and soft so she couldn't resist flopping onto it. Sitting down, she felt a bit of a counce on it and smiled with a bit of an awkward look on her face. "Your room is nice" Joy Ann said giggling a bit afterwards, she wasn't making fun of him. It would be nice without the mess on the flood, the decorations were rather special. The girl watched to see what it was that he was going to do, he was going to get her clothing. She would still use her shoes, his feet looked way too big for her to borrow any shoes from him.
