I use to be one of those rare female trumpet players in my school but just recently I switched to a tenor sax which was badly needed in our school. and wouldn't you know I'm doing better than ever on the sax then I did on the trumpet! I wish I knew this earlier! I never would have spent 5 years of my life on an instrument I had a hard time playing. lol

I switched from Flute to Trombone.
Now I do Tuba and Trombone, but I probably won't have to get out of my low brass section...

I switched from trumpet in marching season to french horn in concert season cause i hate concert band... and i wanted to be with my friends

How can you ditch trumpet for tenor sax!! (Despites tenor saxes rocking [not as much as trumpets though])
At least you kept a Bb instrument because they are totally the best.

It's fun to switch ^-^ I switched from clarinet to trombone and I'm never swtichin back.
