I'm not one to judge a film before I've seen it, but I've always disliked Dragonball and probably wouldn't put money on me enjoying the film. Then again, you never know, live-action has a habit of being a refreshing change from the original format so we'll have to wait and see. The casting is a little confusing (a white Goku?!) but aside from that, the special effects look absolutely incredible!

I saw some pics from it on imdb.com. Shame on Emmy Rossum! She's playing Bulma. After being in "The Phantom of the Opera" as Christine, I can't imagine her as a live action anime character

Seriously this looks awful. Master Rohi is young, Goku is a mallrat, and Piccolo looks like an emo version of the demons from Little Nicky! I'm not one to judge something before I see it, but all I have to say is this looks like it willcompletely destroy the Dragonball series and its story. Sorry for the mini-rant. xp
Who knows? Maybe if I can push the fact that it is a Dragonball remake out of my mind, it won't be quite so bad.
