Jasiri’kasi stretched and yawned just waking up from a nice nap. Glancing around her home she smiled seeing her brother and sisters playing off to the side. Further investigation revealed her mother was resting nearby as well. Giving herself a shake she meandered out into the Savannah grasses deciding she’d go for a stroll. Jasi enjoyed going out for walks on her own, she always managed to find something interesting. Or at least, something that was interesting to her. One time she had found a dead animal- that was actually more gross than interesting, but still interesting.

At the same time a brown and pink hare was taking her own stroll through the grass, her pink eyes were lazily observing her surroundings. She wasn’t on full alert like most of her kind constantly was but she was paying just enough attention that she wouldn’t be taken by surprise. The hare stopped occasionally to dip her head and nibble on the grasses beneath her, ears lifted and listening to the sounds of the Savannah.

It was the ears that caught Jasi’s attention. Tilting her head she made her way towards the brown ears, they were interesting. One even had something hanging from it, it was brown with a little green pretty rock. She had never seen an animal with decorations. It didn’t take her too long to reach the hare and she stopped in front of her and sat down. ”What’s that?” Nope, no introduction, no pleasantries, just blunt question asking. The pup motioned towards the earring with a pink and white paw.

Kip of course heard the approaching pup, and she lifted pink eyes to see who it was. When she saw that it was a pup and that it wasn’t stalking her she remained relaxed. From her experience pups were too clumsy and inexperienced to catch her for a meal. Not to mention most pups she had encountered were still on their mother’s milk. She’d never met a cub who was hunting and eating meat.

”It’s an earring,” The suddenness didn’t bother Kipendo, she actually enjoyed it. It did speed up conversations. She flicked her ear, making the earring hanging from it sway to and fro. Sitting up on her back legs she revealed that she was also wearing a necklace and a bracelet. Anticipating the pups questions she cut them off with answers. ”And this is a necklace,” She paused putting a paw to her necklace. ”And this is a bracelet.” She lifted the paw that had the hemp bracelet wrapped around it.

”Where did you get them?” Jasi leaned her head forwards, her bright pink eyes examining the decorations. They were pretty! She wanted some of her own, maybe not green though- she'd like a nice pink or maybe red, she liked the colour red a lot. Not bothering to ask she lifted a paw and patted the necklace before swatting at the earring. It looked like the earring was hanging from the hare’s ear. The wild dog wondered if that hurt. That would be her next question.

”Well, I traded some pretty rocks I found to another hare. He said he got them from a goddess that lived in a mountain. I had to have my lion friend put the hole in my ear for the earring.” Reaching up she grabbed her ear, pulling it down to clean it. Her white tail twitched as she sat there glancing from her ear to the wild dog pup and back. In the back of her head she had the notion that this was one of the odder conversations she'd had- and Kip had had some very interesting conversations in the past. Most of them had to do with karma, which made it even more interesting that this one had nothing to do with karma.

Jasi frowned, a goddess that lived on top of a mountain? How was she supposed to find her? And what was a goddess anyways? Maybe her mother would know. ”Did getting the hole put in your ear hurt? And how do I find the goddess?” She scanned the horizon, she could see many mountains off in the distance, how was she supposed to know which one housed the goddess? It could be any of them! Maybe she could explore them all, that thought was dizzying in and of itself.

Kip paused to think about that question, did it hurt? She had gotten the jewelry so long ago it was hard to remember. ”It hurt a bit, but my friend did it fast and after a while the pain went away. I don’t even notice it now.” The pup’s other question was harder to answer, how to find the goddess? Well, Kip wasn’t even sure of that, she had never seen the goddess. ”Well…I’d ask around. Ask everyone you run into if they know of a goddess that lives in a mountain, eventually you’ll run into someone who knows her.”

Jasi sighed, that seemed like a lot of work. She was tempted to just take the hare’s decorations but she didn’t think they would fit her. ”Well, okay. I guess I can do that.” Now bored of the hare she stood up and stretched before starting to turn away. ”I have to go home now, bye.” And without a look back she padded off, deep in thought about a better way to find the goddess. She didn't even think of the fact that just leaving suddenly like she did could be considered rude, she just did what she wanted. Plus she was too preoccupied with thoughts of the goddess to be polite.

Kipendo just watched the pup waltz off and she chuckled a bit. Well…that was interesting. She had never met a pup quite like that one. She didn’t even get the other’s name. She thought about going after her and asking for it but then decided against it with a shrug. It didn’t really matter all that much in the great scheme of things. Turning she hopped off in the opposite direction, she should probably find Akko. She didn’t like leaving the lioness alone for too long, she tended to get into trouble without the hare’s calming influence.

By the time Jasi got home she hadn’t figured out a better way to find the goddess and reluctantly admitted that the best way was probably the way the hare said. Just ask everyone that she came in contact with and hope one of them knew of the goddess that lived in the mountain. Coming up on her siblings she noticed they were playing a game and she bounded over to them. ”I wanna play!”
