Kayle walked through a somewhat shallow stream, the current pulling at his large strong legs. walking against the current helped him gain new strength his training never through. The end was soon though...he could feel it. He would soon be strong enough to take on the entire Bismuth family. Finally able to take his revenge and bring Akana back where she belonged.

He slowly walked to the bank of the stream and snatched a fish out of the water as he went. The fish soured out of the stream and landed quite a ways from the stream. Kayle sighed and walked slowly towards it hoping nothing had noticed his lack of control.

Away from the place that acted as his 'home', Wrath was attempting to take a quick nap before continuing on away. His body was sore, not just from his travels but from the blows he had received somewhat recently. And being as young as he was, there was only so far he could travel before his body would wear out.

To him, it was worth it. He wanted to be as far as he can from those two that brought him into this world. Not like he really needed them anyway.

Unfortunately, his little nap was disturbed as something wet and scaley smacked right into him. Awaking with a start, he got to his feet and looked about too see a fish flopping next to him. Growling, he bit down at it in fury, not liking how it had awoken him like that. Though, it did make him wonder just where this fish came from exactly.

Kayle lifted his nose to the air and smelt for his supper. He snarled and his eyes twitched slightly. He was not happy with what he had sensed and dropped his head to go retrieve his meal.

After walking a short distance his eyes noticed what his nose had sensed. A pup...and it was eating his fish..well more like attacking it. He sighed.Of course the fish would be too disgusting to eat now that the pup ad tainted it...but he would get that fish back. This pup needed a lesson picking where to stay for his naps.

He stomped his way over to the pup and growled loudly. "Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with someone elses meal?"

Hearing something approach, the dark red pup turned and looked up as an elder came into view. For now, the fish was forgotten, but it wasn't as if it was alive anymore anyway. The young dragonfly narrowed his eyes at the much larger being, baring his tiny teeth at him.

"Anything that comes out of my mother's mouth is just bull. She could go to hell for all I care! Same goes to your stupid fish," he growled, "It had it coming..."

It may have been a little alarming, to hear such a thing come from a pup, but he didn't care. His parents never paid mind to it, whenever he said it, or when they said such things. And besides, he was on his own now. There was no way he was going to be taking this from anyone any more.

Kayle smirked at the spirit of this pup. He reminded him of himself. "Well at least your not completely brain dead....smart enough think for yourself I see...." He looked the small pup over and noticed the fatigue and marks of a beating. Cheeky little b*****d didn't know when to quit did he?

"So..who beat you up...you get into a fight with another fish?" If this pup continued to be amusing..he may not have to punish him after all.

Wrath kept his body lowered some, acting as if he was ready to spring at any moment. He knew he couldn't do much to the elder, but that didn't mean he wasn't willing to bite if he needed to. Most likely, if anything, he'd end up having to run though.

"That's none of your ****ing business!" he shouted while letting out a few heavy breaths, "Just take your stupid fish and get the hell away from me."

As he said that last bit, he glanced at the mauled fish. He had done quite a number on it, from what he could tell, but it was still edible really. After a moment or two of staring at it, he looked back up at the red elder, practically glaring at him while he waited to see what he would say or do.

Kayle flicked his tail back and forth staring down at the foul mouth pup with a toothy grin. A boy after his own heart. "You think I want that fish back after what you did to it? Your mouth isn't the only thing about you that's filthy you know. Why don't you eat it kid, you look like you need it to keep up all that yelling." While he spoke Kayle began to circle the pup. He wanted to test his survival instincts. See if he was worth paying attention to.

The small pup growled at the much larger elder. Surely he knew it wouldn't do anything to intimidate him, but it'd at least was a way to express himself. Despite what the other dragonfly said, he just glanced at the fish before keeping his eyes on the older one. Wrath turned as he was being circled so that he could keep his backside away from this stranger.

"I don't need your crappy little fish. I can get my own food!" he shouted.

If the elder weren't around, he probably would have eaten the fish once he was done mauling it. But he wasn't about to leave himself open to this seemingly hostile dragonfly. He's learned a lesson about that when trying to eat a few times at home and one or both parents were in a very foul mood.

Kayle watched through appraising eyes as he sized the small pup in front of him up. A small growl came from the pup before him and Kayle smirked. He was smart..he had to give him that. Most pups would have been far too petrified of him to even think about keeping the correct positioning as he circled them. "Oh really you scrawny excuse for spawn? Is that why you look so well kept and fed?"

Over all, the pup didn't know what this elder wanted from him. But in general, he didn't really care either. Having fled from his two elder parents already, he didn't really want to have to deal with more of these giant 'adult' figures.

Keeping his eyes on the larger male, he noted the sarcasm in his comments. Snarling, Wrath soon gave his own reply.

"What's it matter to you? Don't you have better things to do than mess with a pup? Or are you too scared to go and deal with things you're own size!"

Kayle eyes narrowed a little but his smirk remained. There was no way this little waste of space knew about his goals, so there was no reason to get upset. He was obviously trying to get Kayle to leave...and he just wasn't quite through yet. This pup could be useful. He could trained. He could be molded. He certainly had the correct views towards adults and authority. Both of which Kayle had never considered himself. He hated the dragonflys that insisted that they have grown up and became an adult. What F*****g good were adults. All they did was turn their pups they saw fit in keeping into weak creatures that shamed their ancestors. No...he would be a "friend" of sorts you could say. Someone to show him what a dragonfly could be and what they could accomplish.

"Oh trust me...I deal with things my size all the time. In fact I just got done disposing of one of them just a little while ago. What about you...have you killed anything your own size before? I imagine that might be a little out of your own league if you were with your parents..."

Wrath's own eyes narrowed as the red elder spoke. He really didn't know what the older dragonfly was trying to get at. Surely he wanted something, but what that was he couldn't be certain. Then again, maybe all this guy wanted was to mess with something that couldn't do a great deal of harm to him.

For a moment, he was silent. There wasn't much his size, with the exception of other pups his age. Everything else was either considerably larger or smaller than him in general. He certainly hadn't killed another dragonfly at this point, and he hadn't exactly killed any big rabbits either. Even so, in the case of that latter, he was a little less than twice their size.

"I don't know. You seem like you'd run with your tail between your legs the moment something comes that you think you can't beat."

The pup glanced towards the mauled fish momentarily before turning his attention back to the other. He decided not to answer his question.

"Besides, why the hell should I trust or believe you?"

He was reluctant to trust, another promising trait. trusting others usually only lead to betrayal...so why would one bother with it?"Ah...so you haven't then...you haven't felt the life drain out of something that is so close to your own life force that you could almost mistake it for your own." His smirk grew wicked and his eyes a little more wild. " and i have never ran from a fight...in fact I'm usually the one starting them. If I were to think that someone could beat me...then I would die in battle because there isn't room in this forest for beings who can't hold their own. Do you agree?"
PostPosted: Mon Mar 16, 2009 3:58 pm

The pup had fallen silent once more, for the time being in the least. The most of what he had killed so far were mice, insects, and... the fish he had just completely maimed a few minutes ago. None of those really gave him the feeling this elder had just described, but it definitely sounded like quite the experience. It was something he was a bit curious about actually.

Something about the elder's wild grin seemed both welcoming and dangerous at the same time. Wrath wasn't quite sure what it was though, but he couldn't quite help but to agree.

"Yes.."

Narrowing his eyes, he stared at the red elder right in the eyes.

"Enough with the beating around the bush. What the hell are you trying to get at?"

Kayle's grin only widened as the pup spoke. He was like him and he knew it. He also liked to get to the point. He was find, this little demon. "Would you like to feel that sensation. The power and adrenalin that comes with eliminating another life force.? I can help with that..."
