-Hedarth-

As before the war, Hedarth is still the little town off in the middle of nowhere. Resting on the eastern side of the Hadarack Desert, Hedarth is the last settlement before the unknown lands take off. Being on the far side of the Hadarack Desert, this town is barely known and rarely traveled. The small village travelers can be counted on two hands for the pass five hundreds.

This village was burned to the ground by King, all of its inhabitants slaughtered except for a few critically injury individuals. After the war, these few individuals made the long trip back to their home. Stories still flow around that these individual had a reptilian guardian to protect and bring Hedarth back from the ash. The small village was brought back smaller, the people living there not wanting to expand like the rest of Farthen-Dur. Hedarth has just about broken away from Farthen-Dur, being alone now. As an act to separate them from the world they change Hedarth into a more, what would be called later, Japanese theme. Also they have grown and made everything they ever needed. This modern theme they have incorporate is only seen in Hedarth and is one of the reason why the occasional travel comes to the village.

The people of Farthen-Dur look down their nose at Hedarth old ways and fantasy beliefs. Hedarth is the only places where the old world is still remembered. However, Hedarth is the only place known to still hold true to the old ways. Some of its inhabitants are the great grandchildren of Varden. This village is considered a historical ruin by the rest of Farthen-Dur.

A small pond sits in the middle of Hedarth. Rumors have come out, small as they may be, that the pond is filled with dragon eggs. The Varden began to gather up what eggs they could after they exposed the elves. This is the other reason that travelers come, to see if one of the rocks will hatch for them, going out on a limb of curiosity. So far none has happened, and the travelers return home and back to reality.

There is a graveyard that sits pass Hedarth, miles into the unknown land. A large statue of an old tea woman stands there at the entrance. Every year, a flower is found on the tomb stone that lies before the statue of the women call Lilly.

The river named Edda runs just to the east of Hedarth. This river runs straight from Weldenvarden Forest all the way to heart of the Beor Mountains. The river was long ago damage and blocked off, but the people of Hedarth fixed the river to flow again. Some travelers that spend the night say they have seen light floating along the river in both directions.
