-Du Weldenvarden Forest-
Burned to the ground nearly five hundred years ago, the Du Weldenvarden had made an amazing comeback. Like magic, the forest suddenly began to start new life. Within years the forest had its small green foundations littering the burnt forest floor. For the next hundred years the cloud line would always be blacken due to all the ash being stirred up by the wind. Many believe it to be an omen that would soon become something to keep people away from the forest as generations passed the sight on.
Now, five hundred years later, the forest towers into the clouds. Their misty white forms hover just below the tree tops making patterns and puzzle on the forest floor when light is shown down on them. The forest is once again densely crowded and hard to navigate because of it.
For those that remember the elves, it is still unclear if elves have returned or if even they have faded away and died out. However one thing is known, the people of Farthen-Dur have come to fear the mountains and tend to keep their distance from them.
Mountain peaks shoot out from various spot in the forest. Each have name that can’t be pronounce but one stands out. Osilon Mountain Peak is the tallest in Du Weldenvarden. Sometimes, every decade, a light can be seen on the very tip of the peak. There are two lakes, one were the renamed Edda River becomes the Rzeka Gaena River after pasting through the forest. Their names are Ardwen and Rona. Supposedly name after first two elfin riders every to be born, according to the stories.
