-Beor Mountains-

Being the largest out of the two mountain ranges, the Beor Mountains have made quite a name for themselves in history and present day. Once holding the last stronghold against the King, the Varden Resistance, the mountains have now been left to the dwarves as the resistance became no more and moved on. The old outposts of the resistances can still be seen on the tops of the tallest mountains. No longer used, the outposts merely serve as a reminder of what the Beor Mountains use to house.

Not too long after the war, perhaps fifty years later, the Beor Mountains would suddenly become freighting. They would soon be nicknamed The Spire’s Nicer Sister. Suddenly coming to life shortly after the war the people of Farthen-Dur refrain from entering the large mountain range. Being that there were no settlements ever built in the Beor Mountains the people didn’t really attempt to enter in the first place. Promises of old Varden richest do occasionally draw the explorer or raider.

At the edge of the Beor Mountains the Edda River becomes the Az Ragni River before splitting off into the mountains. Tarnag Lake, once providing a water source to the Varden, is now black as night giving of reflections of what is around it after Darsa, the King dark wizard, poison the waters in an attempt to flush out the Varden nearly six hundred years ago. No one knows if the waters are still poisoned but the river that flows into it does bring a constant flow of clean and clear waters and the land around the water has began to grow back some after the war when people still navigated through the mountains.

Part of the Hadarack Desert cuts into the mountains leading to the Niedzwiedzi Zab River and Lake. This lake is the only pocket of the underground water rivers that comes up from the desert. However this lake is small and sometime dries up during the hottest days leaving the river to be nothing more than branch. This lake and river are considered to be one of the freshest and cleanest waters in all of Farthen-Dur.

*Mental Note: Sometimes it is better to go to the Niedzwiedzi Zab Lake at night when the cold doesn’t evaporate the waters.*

' It's been so long.... I feel sleepy still... but restless...'

~ I know... the dream can't stay this way any longer...~

'...I can't remember... wha-what we were doing the last time we-...I-I just can't remember...'

~ Those memories will fill in soon enough... but first my dearest, open our eyes...~

The Bore mountains are the tallest, most profound maintain range in all of their world, stretching too high for even dragons to scale in flight.
Memories of war were etched in their bowels...and echoes of the past still rang through their crevices in a never ending resonation.

And now, in the mid way, as the rocks climbed higher and higher, atop a ledge where the altitude changed into the semi-unbreathable and ice loomed invisable on the air... something glittered in stone with a heartbeat pulsation.

That light grew brighter and brighter with each beat.

Moments later, a loud cracking noise, like lightening stricking the earth resounded across the mountain walls as the stone shattered and something dropped from the rock face.

Plummeting down in a streak of white and falling feathers...

Then came that teribal rawr. then came the sream that made my heart stop. I felt my breath growing hard, the air around me thickening. i ran in the direction that the sound had come from, my eyes stinging with tears as my vision started to blurr. i prayed i wasn't to late, that he was ok. but when i got there he was gone, taken. all i found was his favorite stuffed dragon lying on the ground. I held it tightly, tears poured out of my eyes. pain and saddness engoulfed me, that sadness turning into rage. a new flame was alit in my soul, a feeling that i had never felt before. right then and there i vowed to do watever it took to bring Haru back. because nobody messes with my family, expecialy my little brother...

((srry i didn't explain wat happend very well. but to that i had probably get u up to speed on wats been going on here in the mountans lately. you see Rika and her family are pretty much the last humans to inhabite the Beor Mountains.(though tecknicly Rika isn't exactaly human) refusing to give up there home, Rika's familys ansesters created a little farm in one of the few vallys left in the Beor Mountains. there generations of ranchers have lived there in peace mostly. untill about a year ago when something dark started to stirr deep in the deeps of Tarnag Lake. soon monsters started to come pouring out and stalking the mountans. not long after the monsters started taking children and bringing them back to Tarnag Lake. no one knows why really but it cant be good. because the children that are taken there are never seen again. so thats wat happend to Haru. now that you know be sure to leave coments on my character profile))

((Relena speaking: Us the (( )) to show comment like this. If they big and no relating to the currently roleplay then move it to the chatterboxes. That is why they are there.))
