AIM LOG: DragonsRage24 & _ p a o cx

It was raining, and Naya was gazing happily at the falling water. Her paw twitched as a small rat started to sniff at it, which interrupted her peaceful thoughts, and she chuckled before gently shoo-ing it away. She was nestled comfortably inside the small den she decided to call home for the time being. Perfect timing too, as the rain clouds had started to gather just the night before. With a sigh she stood up and approached the mouth of the little cave, squinting so she could see past the haze. These sorts of days were so...boring, but so relaxing at the same time.

Mir was walking in the rain, letting it coat her pelt, everything. It washed away so much, and as a wicked grin was still present on her maw, rainwater trickled under her eyes into the corners of her mouth where she could still taste blood from her last kill. The life was to have a life worth living, even if it meant taking the life of another to live. "If you're strong you live, if you're weak, you die," she said silently to herself, her ideals, her beliefs, and it was all that was worth it.

She moved on, letting the rain blur her vision, but it didn't matter, she had no where to go, no where to sleep and escape the rain, she had nothing but the one eye that guided her as her sight was stolen from her as a child in her other. She was bitter, but civil, but anything of normal, she was strange.

As she looked on into the distance she noted a figure of sorts making its way across the savannah. Naya squinted her eyes a bit more, to see if she could make out what it was. A moment later she grunted and called out to it, hoping it would hear her and make its way over. "Hey! Over here!!" she yelled, half worried that whatever it was might eat her. But her caring side got the better of her, much to her dismay. She squinted a bit more to see if it changed direction, but she couldn't see as clearly as earlier (thanks to the sudden increase of rain) she called again. "Hey! Can you hear me!? Over here!!"

Her ears perked when she heard a voice. Turning her head her one good eye settled onto a blurry figure calling to her, naive, Mir thought to herself, to call to a monster. However, Mir's stomach was full for today, and she didn't feel like exerting anymore energy that would involve another kill, pity, sometimes those times were the most fun. Turning herself to walk to the form in the distance, her red and black pelt was drenched making her extremely dark while this other was so softly lit with her fur. Different species as well. Pity, it had been a while sice she chased a cheetah, normally they would win because of her eye though. "By yourself today? Strange, very strange for you to be alone in a time like this, no other here then?" she called, waiting outside the den this creature called home, the rain washing over and over her.

Naya made a welcoming gesture and moved out of the way in case the other wasn't so comfortable being so close to someone else. She was like that, anyway, always needing her personal space. So...well, maybe the gesture was more for herself than her new company. "No, there's no one else here," she said, waiting for the lioness to make her way in. She seemed a little comfortable out in the rain though...strange. At least to her...but she shook the thought from her mind and put on a friendly face. "Come on in, it's better than being out in the rain. I don't mind sharing a den, so don't worry."

So naive, innocent, though since the kindness was open, Mir decided that this day, this light colored femme cheetah was on the good side of her and would not be blindsighted, so to speak. Mir made her way in, good eye searching, bad eye wanting to seek out the other's face but to no avail, "Mir thanks you," and Mir would not hurt this femme, no, it had been a while since anyone had shown Mir kindness, even her own father had been cruel to her. "Why is this one," she asked, making a motion to the female before her, "out alone, out alone in such places can be dangerous, Mir knows this," pointing to her blind and scarred eye she sighed, "sometimes even the home can be dangerous, who shows Mir kindness this day?" she questioned.

Naya was a bit surprised by this lioness, who spoke strangely and questioned kindness. Her father had always taught her to never question another's kindness, so she wasn't quite sure how to answer her last question. As for the first, she thought about it for a moment, not sure if wandering was a good enough explanation. "Uhm...I travel a lot," she answered. "Still not used to the 'alone' part, but it isn't that bad." She took a seat and smiled at the other, still wondering how to answer the last question. "As for showing kindness...well, I'm not sure what you mean." Naya smiled a bit sheepishly at her, then remembered that she hadn't introduced herself yet. "Oh, I'm Naya, by the way."

"No worries then, nothing nothing, no worrying your mind with such sillyness depicted on the threshold of my tongue, none then" she said simply sitting back on her haunches. Words spilling out in awkward prasiology was forever present in her speech. "Naya then, such sadness might plague you if forever alone, vicious vilans travel the night by night in shadows and then they can come for you, no worries to you then, for usually rain keeps such beings at bay, but for me, I go on as you, perhaps in different places and times but all is well in then end for we to both survive," she said with a grin and rolled onto her side. "Dry and cold like the slate I've tred upon, though beware of the slate that cracks, poorply it does to your paws yes," and she let her eyes half close while she watched the other. "So calm around someone foreign, naive, but you will learn, Mir will be good tonight."

Naive? Was that an insult or a compliment? Naya looked at her curiously, running the words through the mind again and again in an attempt to make some sense out of them. She took bits and pieces, but didn't manage to catch them all. It was strange...different, but Naya was comfortable enough around her. Her smile came back as she lowered herself to lie down on her stomach, though she kept her head up. "Mir, huh? Well it's nice to meet you." She sighed. "I won't be alone forever...I hope.." The femme lowered her head to her paws, squirming a little where she lay. "I feel safer with company too.."

"No one would come here while Mir is here, no one if they knew better yes," Mir spoke softly while laying on her side. "Mir does things, but do not fear little naive Naya, Mir has had kindness spread over her like the great bow of a cicada, so there wis to be no fear from you tonight, no fear. You shall not be alone forever Mir thinks, for the kindess you spread is true and sincere, qualities that others enjoy, yes, quite alot, even those like Mir enjoy kindess," she wriggled and curled up a bit, almost as if a child curling up next to their non-existance parent at their side. "Naya will be happy, yes, and will not be alone forever, life will come, Naya will see, Mir speaks the truth."

Mir's words, strangely arranged as they were, comforted her, and she sighed in relief. Though...well, she purposely purged the word 'naive' from her mind. She wasn't that naive, right? Naya's smile widened, and she closed her eyes. Her mind was already half-way into sleep, but before slipping completely into her subconscious she murmured, "Thank you..." and then she fell asleep.
