Which do you prefer? Why? Do you think you'd be better at one or the other?

I think I'd be much better at the Theory than the practical, simply because i have slow reaction times. Plus, magical creatures have always intrigued me. I've written several essays on vampires for school projects. Its really awesome but like I said. Going out and fighting against said creatures would be really difficult for me, because I'm not a very good fighter. My girlfriend is much better and, if we lived in Harry Potter world, would probably be my escort as I explore the lives of vampires and packs and other such things. I'd probably become a sort of peace keeper between the human/witch world and the more supernatural aspects of the society. It'd be a lot of fun, interesting and exciting life.

Hrm...
I'd have to say practical.
It's a great opportunity to learn how to protect yourself, and theory is just...book learning. You eat it, and you forget it after a while...
Fighting doesn't sound too fun, though.
I don't think I'd like DADA much in general, hahah.

Definitely practical so I'd be physically able to use it in a life-threatening situation. If someone explained how Karate worked to me, but I never actually practised it, then when the time came to use it my untrained body wouldn't be able to even though my mind would realise what to do.

I would definetely say practical. Often when I read my textbooks I only see
"blah blah blah wand blah blah blah raise blah blah blah 'expecto patronum' blah blah memory..." You get the picture. Personally I think I'd remember things better with actual practice.

I think I'd be much better at the Theory. I learn things easier by reading and studying them. I also have slow reflexes and reaction times and don't work well under stress. (Like when you're being attacked or a teacher is breathing down your neck while you try to cast the spell correctly.)
