Greed was laying down curled up around his belongings, he was named greed for a reason, but he could not remember who had named him that, he simply was. He tilted his head looking at a shiny stone in his collection, it was his no one elses and had always been his and that was what he believed. He slowly rolled over so he was laying on his back holding up his paws to look at them and to think... if anyone thought his things were there own they would regret it, for they were terribly wrong right? His gold piercings gleamed in the sunlight and he was quite content with his view.

The golden dragon, Malda, was taking a walk in his dragonfly elder form for once. He usually perfered to walk as an elf since his large size along with his bright colors usually grabbed a lot of attention. As social as he could be, Malda liked things when they were quiet as well. However, he was hungry at the moment and felt it would be easier to hunt like this today.
The elder stopped to rest while the sun shined off his fur, making him look even brighter than usual. A large yawn came from him and he decided to sit down. Not much prey had been wandering around and he had been walking for a while. Perhaps traveling as an elf was the better idea after all...

Greed snorted the sky was only entertaining for so long, and so he rolled over onto all fours. The sky was too big to hide in his collection, no matter how many times he said it was hi-Suddenly something golden caught his eye, the shinier the better it seemed. Greed crouched down crawling towards the sparkling golden shape that was only a short ways away, he tried to be stealthy as so not to scare it away, whatever it was it was pretty big and soon going to be his.

Malda moved to lay down on the ground and shifted to make himself more comfortable. He layed his head on his front paws and shut his eyes halfway. Yes, the weather was nice for a nap. Even with his stomach grumbling in hunger he felt comfortable to drift off to sleep. He would only allow himself to take a break however. Even if hunting after the sun went down would be easier for him, there were other things Malda wanted to do on this night. His tail moved from side to side as he thought of his plans for later. The pup had gone unnoticed.

Greed grinned, acquiring this large shiny seemed to be going smoothly so far. He narrowed his eyes growling quietly to himself as he slinked closer to the large golden elder which would soon become part of his collection. He narrowed his eyes the elders golden gleam was almost blinding, but in a good way of course as all things in gold were, he smiled to himself, eager. Now the problem was, should he wait till the elder was a asleep and attempt to drag him off somewhere since thats what it seemed like it was going to do, or pour on the poor abandoned puppy act?

Malda's eyes closed completely shut and he appeared to be sleeping, but his tail kept movng from side to side. It was his way of keeping himself awake. He moved his tail in one big swoosh and ended up swooping up the pup with it. His eyes opened as he felt the extra weight on his tail and curled up his tail in front of him to see. "Well hello, little one. What brings you here?" He asked with a gentle chuckle.

"Ah!" Greed wriggled panicked his eyes widen with shock as he was swept up by the large golden elder's tail. "Hey! Geez mister!" he blinked slowly looking up at the large elder, "i mean hi..." he said in awe of the elder, if he managed to capture this elder is collection would surely be the best. Breaking free from his momentary stupor Greed realized the elder had said something else besides hello, "I'm not little" Greed snapped indignantly holding his head up high before glancing at the elder warily, "No reason in particular mister... besides why do you want to know?" He raised an eyebrow.

Malda chuckled more after hearing Greed's response. Ah, children. "Pure curiousity, nothing suspicious. Plus, I believe you were the one coming towards me perhaps...?" He lowered his tail a bit more, just in case the pup was afraid of heights. "Sorry if I offended you. I'm the big one here I suppose if you look at it one way. So I beg pardon." He smiled again. "Are you lost by any chance? I would be happy to lead you back to your parents. They may be missing you."

Greed glanced at him, "well i guess there isn't anything wrong with curiousity..." He flashed a wicked grin, "of course i wasn't mister, why would i be coming towards you? You just happened to be in my way is all." he snickered looking up at the elder, "Naw you didn't offend me, I'm not easily offended and all." He puffed out his chest slightly his gold jewelry clanging together slightly. "You are pretty big mister, and hte onyl way you could offend me is if ya took somethin of mine, but that would mean you could find it and i'm a pretty good hider." The pup glanced around knowing this area well enough he supposed not to consider himself lost, but then again he was always lost since he didn't really know anywhere. "Nope not lost and there ain't no parents missing me either," he snorted. "What about you mister? You got a family? You lost?"

Malda frowned a little. Did this pup not have a family or was he just a determined runaway? There seriously were too many pups without parents these days from what he'd been hearing. It was upsetting for to the elder. "I see..." He said and tilted his head a little to the side as he thought. "Yes, I am big. Have you heard of elders before?" He picked his head up more. He felt like standing up, but it would be hard to speak to the younger while towering over him. "Me? A family? No, haven't had one of those in the longest time..." He smiled weakly. "I'm an adult so it doesn't matter as much. I am expected to take care of myself. Your situation I find troubling however. One like you should have a home with parents. I hope your words simply meant your parents know where you are."

Greed grinned watching the elders expression, "I'm sure you do mister, I'm sure you do," he nodded, his nose ring tapping against his nose as he did so. The pup glanced around briefly worried someone might find his stash while he was talking to this elder, "Yeah," he scratched an ear, "i think so at least elders are really old and strong right?" His tail thumped slightly, "not having a family must stink... i hope you have lots of friends at least otherwise it might get lonely... though i suppose the more people there are the more chances they might take your stuff," he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. Cocking his head to the side he raised an eyebrow, "Nope no parents anymore," he shrugged, "who knows where they went off to without me, suppose their having a better time now though."

Malda nodded his head once. "Yes, to some extent, but age doesn't really affect what an elder is in the sense that I am one I think. I don't think I'm that old... I don't keep track anymore, however." The dragon frowned. Was he really old? Now that couldn't be possible. Did he look old? "Hm? Oh! Well, I do speak with many people. Socializing is fun..." He smiled and chuckled. "I have my art to keep me company too." Malda laughed a little more. Stuff? Things? He couldn't imagine what the little one must have. "You have a treasure or a collection of some sort you want to keep safe? Things like that don't really bother me. The only things I suppose I own is my art, but I can always make more of that if they were stolen."Malda's face fell since he had not really got a straight answer from the pup about this parents. Malda wasn't quite sure if he should do anything about that. "How long have you been alone?"

Greed tilted his head, "do you even know when your birthday is?" he asked rather curious, maybe that was why the elder didn't keep track of his age because he didn't even know when he got older, that made sense to some extent to the pup. He nodded, "well thats good since you don't have a family because other wise it would be terribly lonely i suppose..." He made short sweeping motions with his tail, "Art?" now that was a rather strange idea, he hadn't really seen any "art" before. Ugh parents, why was this elder so concerned? "A while i suppose," he shrugged.

"My birthday....? Hrm, well I believe it was during the summer season. You see, I don't think such things are important to keep track of. Plus, when one reaches a certain age a birthday becomes undesirable anyway. Asking someone's age becomes almost an insult... Not that I care very much. Like I said, I just don't think it matters..." He sat up straight some more and thought. Perhaps he should have paid more attention to years passing. Now he was more interested in how long he lived. "Time is sort of like an illusion anyway..." He smiled and nodded his head. "Yes, art. I love to draw, paint, create... It's very fun. Would.... Would you like to see? I can bring you to where I keep my collection. I haven't had a visitor there in a while... And no need to worry about me being lonely. I have plenty of ways to keep myself occupied." Malda said no more on the pup's parents. If he kept pushing the pup might grow upset and run off he expected.

Greed frowned, "oh i guess so..." his ears flopped down slightly before a grin spread across his face, "I mean you won't be growing anymore right? so there isn't really a ned to keep track of age then..." He glanced around and chuckled, "well i guess that explains why when i asked this lady how old she was she got all mad at me," he laughed shaking slightly as he did. Art, he wanted to see what this art looked like, let alone get a chance to see someone else's collection would give him a better idea on how to hide his, " Yeah i wanna see your art," he bounced slightly as the word art slowly rolled off his tongue it was a pretty funny word in his opinion.
