 ((I'm going to start a-new if you don't mind)) Patience wandered through a small field taking her time at admiring the flowers and the small animals. She hummed to herself and stumbled upon an object. Turning around to see what it was, she saw it was a shiny rock. With glee, she held it up and watched as the sunlight bounced off of it creating rainbows on her fur.

Greed was in a rather pleasant mood, he had buried his treasures nearby and was looking for more of his would be belongings. That was when he spotted something shiny nearby, totally ignorant of the pup holding it. "mine!" he grinned reaching to take it from the girl.

Patience frowned. Another pup had come by and had taken the rock from her. She turned to the male pup and tilted her head at him. "Do you like the rock?" she decided that she would be nice and let him have it.

Greed snorted casting a brief glance at the pup who he had taken the rock from before his gaze drifted back to the rock, "this rock is mine" he said slowly enunciating the last word, as if his tongue was caressing it, it was his favorite word after all. He set the rock down and pawed at it, slowly rolling it over in the grass.

Patience nodded, "Okay." She looked around the field for another rock that she could play with. She found a dull gray rock that was in the shape of a perfect oval. She giggled at the smoothness of it. She looked up and smiled at the pup. "Wanna be friends?" she wagged her tail from side to side.

Greed played with the rock a little before glancing at her tilting his head looking slightly awed, "you wanna be my friend?" he grinned his tail thumping against the rock. "Not many people want to be mine" he giggled growing excited, he trotted forward through the grass towards her.

"Why don't they want to be your friend?" she asked, "You seem to be very nice." Well...maybe not that nice, but she had to give him a chance and some time to show his true self.

Greed shrugged "i dont know.... but i dont want them to be mine either just because of that" he tuck out his tongue laughing. He dropped down rolling in the grass," you think im nice? you must be silly" he giggled "no one ever thinks i'm nice, at least no one i've met so far... " he shrugged "not even my parents i suppose..."

"That's sad. Don't parents love their pups no matter what?" Patience grew slightly jealous of Greed. He had parents! She looked down and started to play with the small rock. "I don't really have friends or family..." she said quietly.

Greed shook his head "nope not real parents at least... they just wandered off one day" he shrugged. "they were mine too..." he tilted his head awkwardly "cant blame them at least, i mean look at me" he grinned scratching at his pierced ear. "oh that stinks.. " he frowned watching her. "you can be my family or my friend if you want..." he pawed at the ground shyly looking at his feet.

"Oh..." Patience suddenly felt ashamed that she thought such mean things! His parents had left him. That was probably worse than not knowing who your parents were. "You don't look too bad..." she found his piercings and his appearence quite interesting.
Her ears had perked up, "Really? Family? So we can be like brother and sister?" she pounced onto him ecstatic. She was going to have a brother!

Greed chuckled "no worries" he wriggled he grinning before cocking his head to the side, "really you don't think i look weird?" he giggled playing with his nose ring. "i met a bunch of moldy elder ladies once and they called me a deliquent or some such" He grinned his tail thumping again. "Yeah of course you can be my family, i wouldn't offer if i didn't mean it... not like i take no for an answer anyway" he snorted with laughter.

She shook her head, "Nope. You don't look weird to me. You look cool!" her ears twitched restlessly. "Did you do something mean to the elders?" she stared at him curiously. This was certainly one interesting pup! He already stood up against the elders! Patience picked up the small rock, "You have have this...brother." she smiled at him her tail wagging once again.

Greed grinned "awesome" he said standing up straight and proud. The image of the elders he had met flashed briefly through his mind" nah" he shook his heda "they just didnt like how i looked" He smiled slyly before sticking out his tongue,"not like i care what those old ladies think anyway" He tilted his ehda watching her, his eyes ran over the rock tracing its shape "Thank you... sister" he chuckled the word feeling strange on his tongue "hmm seems we need a mother and father now so we can have a real family"

"But you look cool!" she pouted. "How did you get those anyways?" she pointed at his nose ring. "Do you think I can get one too?" she imitated his grin.
"Hmm...a mother and a father..." Patience plopped back down. "Where would we find one?" This was the first and only dragonfly she had ever met, so she didn't have the slightest idea where to find any other dragonflies.
