I didn't really enjoy Death Note too much. It pequed my curiosity and provoked the desire twords mysterys, but it went on too long. If you would like my recomendations, I would always recomend Elfen Lied to anyone. Especialy if you enjoy psychological anime. Though if you do watch it, watch it till the end or please dont make an judgements about it. At the moment im enjoying Gundam 00.

As for Death Note it's one of my fave animes so I can't say much bad about it, but I agree that it was kinda too long and I somehow didn't the ending... I would've wished for something different...
Elfen Lied is a good psychological anime and although some preffer to it as "too bloody" it's definetly worth watching. And atm I'm enjoying Soul Eater and I suggest you take a peek at it since it seems kinda like a funny anime at first, but as it goes further the more serious it gets.

Yes all of them: Death Note, Elfen Lied and Soul Eater is very good animes especialy first 2.
I suggest you to watch Code Geas, it is one of the rare technology animes I like nad I like it very much, not because of those robots of course sweatdrop
and at The moment I'm watching GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) thats very lol anime rofl

I really liked Death Note. Elfen Lied was a good manga, though I never watched the anime... Right now I'm watching Nana {which is good, though, you might not like it: Shojo... but quite dark actually} and I just started watching Vampire Knight {I'm up to date on scans *clings to onemanga*}.
I've been reading more manga than watching the animes... I'm a strange child right now. My free time is spent reading scans >>

Don't know shojo but as for Nana I have seen only cover and it didn't attract me smile
I can suggest one realy good anime that I recently finished
Bokura Ga Ita tikai brīdinu ne visiem varētu iet pie sirds jo ne visiem patīk romantiskās anime smile

Shoujo is a style. Don't ask why I forgot the u the first time around, I was tired this morning. Anyway, the cover wasn't appealing, but it had such a high rating that I decided to give it a try. It is quite a depressing series though. The manga is still going, but the anime had two complete seasons. I'm interested to see how they differ.
Right now I'm reading Kuroshitsuji which is a nice little action piece. smile

Im a sucker for the cute anime...dont get me wrong i love the action stuff...but i always fall for a cute anime girl with long hair and big breasts. My favorates are Maburaho and Magical Pokaan. My favorate gundam has to be G Gundam, lets hear it for Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken!
I love sailor moon too, before america touched it...this anime would be the reason why school girls are my weakness. and also the reason why i love cute anime so much...

some of the cute anime is alsoi good but to say truth my favorite is school romantic animes sweatdrop
and btw right now I'm watching Tales of Symphonia
and I suggest you all to watch Tales of the Abyss that's one realy good masterpiece smile

I played the game, it was longer then i though and actually fairly enjoyable. they made a sequel for wii that im sure ill end up playing sometime. the romantic animes are also very very enjoyable to me though. g gundam, although fairly actiony, is technically a romance as well. you cant pull off love love tenkyoken without love love.

Yeah, I didn't enjoy Death Note much either... I watched up to episode 20 and kind of lost interest... I might try to watch the rest some other time.
Elfen Lied was cool, I agree.
I think Gundam Seed is still my favourite anime to-date although Fullmetal Alchemist and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are pretty up there too =P
I'm still hanging out to buy disc 3 of Haruhi and if I get really rich I'll be buying Gundam Seed Destiny =D

i also have seen .hack//SIGN and I think it was pretty good although I have heard that from all of .hack it's the worst, don't know bout that cause I haven't seen anything else from .hack series, but one of the things I really loved at SIGn was it's ost heart
