I have NEVER seen so much snow in my life...and although I've been hoping for a Winter like this for as long as I can remember, it's actually a little scary watching it pile on top of everything....I think it's 8 or 9 inches here, we usually get nothing or MAYBE an inch.... >.>

Well the weather a few days ago almost got my flight canceled, so the snow and ice can go to hell if you ask me. I was more afraid of how no one can drive when it's even slightly slick out than I was of the ice on the roads itself.

I've had a blast! We made a mountain of snow in the driveway with a tunnel through it. We've been out sledding ever day. I won't be able to finish my christmas shop which is sad, but oh well time with the family in the snow is a much better present anyway. xd

I live at the bottom of a mountain, so we rode our quads up the mountain and sleded down it. I was the only one to sled down the entire moutain without crashing or stopping.
i have 12 inches right now.
Well it looks like we r going to have a White Christmas.

There's 8-12 inches on my driveway and expected to be more snow again tonight. Since we live on a quiet neighborhood no plows went through our street so its really hard to walk in. The street is a thick layer of ice under the snow! We have been stuck inside for 5 days now. Its really beautiful though and I have taken a lot of pictures. My husband said the hell with it this morning and actually drove us into Seattle for work. It snowed down here too, but not as thick as where I live.

My mom is vicious in snowball fights...she kept getting me in the face with handfuls of snow XD
...Granted, I got her in the face, too....which probably explains the face that we spent a good three or four minutes just smashing each other with snow ^^
Our snowman got snowed on and he looks deformed XD

Blessed? You call being confined to your house because your driveway is being choked with slippery snow blessed?

*points to the question mark in the thread title*
It's all about perspective...I was asking for opinions on the snow--thank you for yours.
(I myself really enjoyed making a snowman, eating Christmas dinner with snow out the window, having a snowball fight, and sledding... *shrugs*)

The snow was absolutely beautiful and added three days to my winter break. :3 But it was absolutely horrible to drive in, my mothers car almost got stuck multiple times and my boyfriend almost got stuck in Seattle on a metro bus. : P I'm glad I didn't have to go to school in it but I felt bad for the people who had to drive in it everyday.
Yay, flooding now! : D

I am personally very glad the snow is melting. >___<
I HATE THE SNOW. I am the bad guy in the second Frosty the Snowman movie. But in real life. Haha.
I miss rain.

I like rain (especially listening to it at night <3)...unless I'm outside. Even that's kinda okay if I have an umbrella...unless it's windy...like today.... *the umbrella wasn't much help on my ten minute walk home XP*
Floods are okay until we have to evacuate the house like last year XD Our storage barn/workshop thing got flooded and mud was everywhere....mom only just got it clean >.>

I think that (us) people of Washington wished just a little bit too much for snow. xp

Monkeyman04 I think that (us) people of Washington wished just a little bit too much for snow. xp I think that's where the saying "careful what you wish for" comes in. xd

Oh, I miss the snow really badly now.... We had to evacuate my house for a day due to flooding XD
(yes, I know snow runoff was partly to blame for the flooding, but I still miss the snow anyway)
