I thought it might be fun to have one thread for all those who are pregnant to post random questions, stories, or special happenings, like frist kick and ultrasounds. I myself am pregnant for the second time, and I'm due in June. I know I'm awlays think of things I want to ask, but I don't want to start a million threads, so if your peggers and want to share or ask, here you go.

Hi there, I'm also due in June, but by the looks of it you are due about 2 weeks before I am.
Do you know what you are having yet? (I had to go to the ER not long ago, and the dr wanted to check on the baby just to make sure everything was good.. and I found out I'll be having a boy!)

I'm pregnant with #3 and final (that I never thought I would have because DH had said no more.. then in sept decided that if we wanted #3 we had to try and try soon.. so the 3rd week of sept is roughly when I concieved.. after going off the patch that first week of sept.. wow!)

I currently have two little girls.
Karya is 4 and she was born Sept 14th 2000
Sieryn is 17mo and she was born August 25th 2003 (she was due Sept 10th though.. but she still thankfully made it as a Virgo.)

I've got currently 3 Virgo's and Myself (pieces.. sp?) My husband, and two daughters are both Virgo's. #3 will be the only oddball with me, and will be the little boy I was so desperately hoping #2 would be (but I am very glad #2 is a girl, she's my chubby, sneaky, loveable little one who has a big sister who loves her so much.. I wish I could have had that when I was little)

anyway. enough about me.. ^_^

My fiancé is a pisces too. (I remember the spelling because when I was first learning to read and still sounding every word out, I pronounced it "piskes"). I'm a libra, but for some reason, Pisces was always my fave zodiac sign (and I think it was supposed to be my 'moon' sign, which was... supposed to explain something or other).

I am going to see her later on today, she is suposed to check if i am dialated or not

i am so realy to be done
i just hope that today when i see my mid-wife she tells me that we are dialated (at least a little bit)

Im a little further ahead of you Angie... im 19 weeks and I think 2 days. I have been getting the worst back pain after work. Im a cashier at McDonalds, and dont get time to sit. We think its because the baby is right over my syatic (sp?) nerve, since its in that area it hurts. Im down to 6 hour shifts.
This is baby #1 for me... i want another in about 3-5 years though.

Its been an ok pregnancy, but i think it could've been easier if I'd smarten up and relax.. lol, they had me shoveling snow at work and i didnt say no... redface

i'm due january 6th, so i'm nearly 41 weeks pregnant. i'm going the same way kristi is, i'm waiting about 5-6 years before going for another one as i haven't finished college yet. if i were you kristi i certainly wouldn't be going to school anymore. i wouldn't be able to stand running around hallways right now. i'm waiting for my boy to arrive... anyone else experienced with waiting till way after the due date?

I'm so glad to meet all of you *sqeals with delight* Wow broken cloud I can't imagine being 41 weeks pregnant. My now 2 yr old was a preeme and I was dying by the time she was born. It looks like a lot of us are pretty close together on our due dates thats so cool. I don't know what I'm having yet, but the hubby says it better be a boy or else (only teasing ofcourse) We find out of the 21st and i'll be sure to let you all know and I'll have to update my ultrasound pic too.
Kristi you must be having a hard time going to school so pregnant hats off to you. And Topaz I hope they will be nicer to you at work. My low back is killing me too... actually it's my whole back but I had an upper back injury before I got preg.
I hope your all doing well. and congrats.

THe school I'm at has a farly small campus and about 1/2 the school is pregnant or parenting teens so they are very understanding about being a few minutes late to class (they also have a free daycare on campus smile )+ my doctor said that its very good for you to be walking around in your last month (I have also herd that walking around and doing certin streaches can speed up labor and/or make it go eisier)

hehe, you guys are silly. I always wait until after a ultrasound at around 20 weeks before I do any shopping, or let anyone else do shopping.
I was lucky and got an earlier ultrasound and the baby had his legs up in the air (so not modest, the girls tried their best to hide from it!) so I know what im having already...

so what have you guys bought so far?

So far I've gotten 1 green blanket with teddy bears (it was gender nutral.. and I really wanted to get something for the baby.. I got before I found out what we are having). My husband found the cutest little pair of blue baby booties.. so he bought them. And walmart had packs of newborn - 9 month baby onesies on sale $4 a pack of 5 instead of the usual $7.. so I got a pack of those in the newborn size. and Im looking into a bassinet..
since after a few months in it the baby wont fit.. I found the perfect one.. it then turns into a toddler bed.. which I can put my (by then 2 year old) youngest daughter in.. and give the baby the current crib.. I just have to run it by my husband.. the pattern is so cute!..
I love baby things.. smile

I dont quite belong in this thread, but I saw you mention about being past your due date. Both of my babies were past their date. I had to be induced with both. Good luck smile
