General Name: Chalthara Kenrahel Age: 104 Race: Drow Gender: Female Profession: Priestess of Lolth; current "Matron Mother" of House Hun'Afin. Where do they live? House Hun'Afin compound.
Appearance Complexion: Deep, soft ebony. Hair Color: White. Style: Slightly angled towards the front. In other words, her hair is slightly longer at the front than it is in the back. It hangs without bangs in long strands (which reach a few inches past her shoulders). Eyes: The traditional red, though hers have a hint of mahogany/rust to them. Height: 4' 11.5'' Weight/: 100 lbs Build: Slight, in that way atypical for a female of her race, though resolute in a determined sort of way. Distinguishing Features: She carries herself with an inner strength and extreme dignity...typical of the First Daughter of any House, fallen or not. Her eyes have a calculating quality that many find just as unsettling as the determined, quiet set of her lips while they talk to her. Smiles are fleeting. Health: Excellent. Disabilities: None. Clothing: Chalthara's favorite colour is dark emerald green, so it is no surprise that her everyday clothing is of that shade. Such clothing consists of a robe with flaring sleeves, a tasteful 'v' neck, and a simple belt with a gold clasp. With that she wears simple travelling boots of brown leather and a piwafwi; one with enough pockets (though not the number posessed by one especially for a wizard) to carry necessary objects. In battle, she wears light mail that bears the insignia of House Hun'Afin. Prized Possessions: A holy symbol of Lolth, and her old House's insignia brooch.
Relationships Relationship With Mother: Chalthara's mother, Matron Mother Yasfryn, always thought her inferior to her sister. She claimed that her first child was not nearly as assertive as she should be...though Yasfryn wouldn't deny Chalthara did her duties well. She just lacked the charisma the Matron felt was necessary to rule a House. Her mother is now deceased, killed during the raid on House Kenrahel. Relationship With Father: She was never close with him. Supposedly, he was a highly ranked wizard in the house before Yasfryn's, but was killed in a battle for ascension (ultimately won) in the ranks of Ulorbbath's Houses. Siblings: Jhulyrr Kenrahel, Second Daughter (deceased...hopefully). Jhulyrr was always Chalthara's rival. They were close in age and in skill as clerics. The only way in which they differed was personality. Jhulyrr was more the model of her station than was her sister. Shi'nas Kenrahel, Elderboy (deceased). Shi'nas is the half brother of Jhulyrr and Chalthara, the son of Yasfryn and Queverin (the Matron's most recent, and last, Patron). He is the only son of their small family. Chalthara never saw him as a significant influence. Lover: In her days as a priestess she probably had a fling or two. Pet(s): None. She doesn't particularly like animals.
Other History: House Kenrahel was a House of average means and prowess. They were a significant part of trade in Ulorbbath, but no so significant that their fall altered anything in the city. It didn't. They were annihilated by the House directly below theirs in rank, which was apparently higher in the favor of Lolth than the defenders. Chalthara escaped the fall of her House by way of their mushroom garden. Crawling amongst the assorted fungi and few plants, she used dirt to make herself harder to seek out, even with the keen vision of her enemies. From there it was a matter of luck. She managed to extricate herself from the battle and the city both, though she feared pursuit, and took off into the tunnels towards Au Shindago. The Matron of the opposing House let her go. It was quite a distance to the next city, and without food and significant supplies, she would most probably die. She had her weapons with her, but nothing else: no healing supplies, no food, and no water. Somehow, Chalthara survived to meet up with a war party. They knew not of the fall of her House, and she beguiled them into allowing her to have some of their food, not mentioning the fact that she no longer had any status whatsoever in Ulorbbath. She was a Cleric of Lolth and would not lightly be denied. However, the war party soon found that they were being pursued by an angry figure, one called Lord Izaran. That was after Chalthara had parted from them (warily, of course). Because of the strange nature of fate, Izaran and Chalthara met eachother on the road/tunnel. He attacked, thinking her a member of the war party he was currently pursuing. Once they made peace, they journeyed to Au Shinduago together, and Chalthara learned tidbits of his trade along the way. In Au Shinduago, though, they were met with aggression, and Izaran mysteriously vanished. Chalthara fled back to Ulorbbath. There, she was taken in by House Hun'Afin, which was hard pressed for members and would even adopt houseless outcasts like herself. Equipment, Abilities, etc: She carries with her a trio of daggers, one in her boot, one at her hip, and another hidden within the folds and pouches of her piwafwi. Her other weapon for the purpose of stealth is a hand crossbow. For melee fighting, she uses a well crafted shortsword, also from her House before its demise. She also possesses the whip that is the trademark of priestesses of Lolth and can use it as a ranged weapon during combat.
Personality Greatest Fear/Phobia: Sometimes she fears that her sister escaped as she did, though that is highly improbable. Pet Peeves: People that state the obvious, people who look humorously upon her...lack of height, people that constantly fix their hair. Most at ease when...she's alone Most uncomfortable when...other priestesses of Lolth are around. They cause her to feel insecure, since she fears that they will accuse her of blasphemy for having neglected her duties for so long. Most embarrassing moment(s): Darkest Secret: She is significantly more tolerant of others, even of males if she believes they warrant her approval, than some other priestesses of Lolth. Although she is by no means compassionate, she is more logical than most in her line of work. Greatest Strength: Her ability to stay calm and keep a cool head under pressure. Greatest Weakness: She sees her own nonconventional sort of humor in certain situations. She is also too quiet and analytical in some instances, so focused that she is not assertive or even very vocal at all. Good/Bad Habits: She has the bad habit of staring at people. Biggest Accomplishment: Living as long as she has. Biggest Regret: Not killing her sister to gain the 'respect' of her mother. Mental Disturbance: None.
Interpersonal Skills Relation to others: Generally reserved, though if she's got something to say (or a threat to give) she'll say it. Perceived by others: Probably a little unnerving... What do others like? Her 'good manners.' What do others dislike? Though she is a good conversationalist if it is required of her, she is generally the quiet type. That quiet type that you worry about. Goals: Survive, not be discovered by the other Matrons for the fraud she is.
Base Stats STR: 10, DEX: 14, CON: 10, INT: 18, WIS: 17, CHA: 13

Lord Izaran Teh Grammar Police Gee, that's wonderful. xd oh yes, so causally said too...lol Well, I would raise an eyebrow if a drow were anything but mildly amused at your typical run-of-the-mill bloodshed without imagination. I mean, lure them into a plot, have them thinking they're ahead, and then let them live just long enough to realize their failure... that would make a drow smile. xd
