Part One
Sheiya Heartnet wondered aimlessly around her room, her thoughts occupied as images of that guy repeatedly appeared in her mind. She didn't want to see it; didn't want to see him, but luck was not on her side and she walked into something she clearly didn't want to.
Sliding a hand into her hair, Sheiya grabbed a fistful of her hair and pulled. She then walked toward her bed and fell down backward, her face facing the ceiling.
She closed her eyes, letting out a long tired breath. Sheiya then opened them and just stared, her mind replaying the scene she saw. The scene she had just witness.
It was beyond explanation. The things she saw, she couldn't believe. Yet she saw it so clearly. Witness it first hand. What more, the way the guy turned around to stare at her; the way he stared at her with the look of total malice; a look of pure evil.
And now her mind is going hay wired, never giving her the peace she wanted so much. Never giving her the rest that she desperately needed.
Letting out a groan, Sheiya once again closed her eyes, this time, however, she kept them close, the lids too heavy to open.
She simply laid there for awhile, breathing in and out, patiently trying to remove the images she was seeing.
All of a sudden, her eyes shot open, her breathing now short and sharp. Sheiya curled up on her side, her hands digging into her chest.
She didn't know what to do. She was shaking all over, and there was nothing that she could do. She tried sitting up, but failed miserably. She tried moving her body, whether just an arm or a finger; it doesn't matter as long as she could at least control something. But nothing seemed to work.
And then she saw it. Eyes she only saw for a few seconds, but seem to know for an eternity. Eyes that stared at her right now, as if he was in the room with her, staring at her with those eyes of his.
"You are the one." He said, yet his voice sounded unclear; blurred out, changing from one sound to another. "You have to be the one."
Sheiya just stared at those eyes with horror etched into her eyes. Her mouth seemed to move, yet no voice spoke out.
Finally, with strength unknown, she was finally able to speak the words she wanted to ask. "Who are you?"
He stared at her, with his knowing eyes. He stared at her, with hatred in his eyes.
Who is this girl? To have come across him and the demons? Who is this girl? Who had witness all. Saw everything that humans shouldn't have seen to begin with. Just who is this girl? That was momentarily stunned, yet she was able to access everything that was happening around her; that knew she shouldn't have seen it, yet still believe.
But of course, he knew who she is.
She's the one that should have been killed years ago, yet lived. The one that had escaped through his very grasp.
He had sent every warrior he owned to find her; to finish her off. And he swore that they had done the job...Unless they got the wrong girl...Unless they had lied to him.
'Just how the ******** did you live.' Daemon Keegan thought viciously, still staring at her. Cross that. Still glaring at her.
Daemon let out a grunt of disgust when she was able to break through his spell. Was even more disgusted when she spoke to him. And it made him twitch by her choice of words.
'"Who are you?" She says,' He thought with disdain. 'Who the ******** do you think I am? I'm going to be your ******** executioner.' But he didn't reply. Not out loud anyways.
No. Instead, he held her gaze, tried to enter her mind. Tried to destroy her mind. But nothing.
He wasn't able to get in. He wasn't able to do anything, and he hated her even more.
But... Daemon let out a small smirk, one that the girl wasn't able to see.
"You know me, child." He replied, his voice soft; light and soft as a feather. "You have always known me."
"No...No I don't." The girl stated, the fear in her eyes subsiding. "I have never known you. And I never will."
"Brave words from such a small child." Daemon said, his iris melting around his pupil. "But you know my words are true."
"...No..." The girl whispered, struggling to stand up, yet she sounded confuse and unsure and she felt strange...Felt wrong.
"Yes." Daemon assured her, his smirk now a full scale smile, as he was able to enter into her mind.
There were so many memories, so many useless images inside her mind. Daemon didn't give a s**t about her life, but bare with it has he rummage through her mind, discarding and watching the ones that interest him. But none did.
He was finally able to get into her mind, and he found nothing of use. Saw nothing that could help him win the war.
He let out a growl of frustration...That is, until he found something that might actually help him out.
"Sheiya." Daemon whispered, willing his body to appear behind her, his head bend down to murmur in her ear. "I was there and have always been there for you. I was there when they murdered your parents. I was there when they took you away. I was there when you cried yourself to sleep. And I was there when you tried to kill yourself. I was definitely there because I was the one who stopped you."
No he wasn't, but she wouldn't know.
The girl angrily turned around, her hand already thrust out as she tried to punch him. Yet her fist had met air, as he easily disintegrated and appeared in front of her.
"Now," Daemon said in amusement. "That wasn't nice."
"Stay out of my head!" Sheiya shouted angrily, turning around swiftly to face him. "I know what happened and I know you weren't there. Stop messing with my mind." She snarled viciously.
"Now now, don't get testy." Daemon said, clearly enjoying this. "All I'm saying is the truth."
"All your saying is filled with lies." She responded.
"Now Sheiya. Would I really do that?" Daemonn feigned surprise.
"Ye-...No...?" Sheiya shook her head, her eyes going wild. "I...don't know..." She then looked up at him, her eyes wide with fear once again. "What did you do to me?" She whispered. "What do you want from me?"
Daemon closed in on her, placing two of his fingers under her chin, lifting it up so that their eyes were staring straight into each other. "I'm just taking what is mine."
Before she could even say anything, her eyes closed slowly, almost automatically. And as she fell into his arms, Daemon stared at her with a stoic gaze.
He then moved them around, so that he was facing the wall, and she to the bed. Then he completely vanish, letting Sheiya falling onto the bed, completely unconscious.
"What are you going to do, now that she knows?" A voice asked, as Daemon appeared in his office.
Daemon peered over his shoulder to see his first commander, Erin Lennox, leaning against the open door, her arms crossed under her chest.
Dressed like any other teenager, she wore loose jeans and a black t-shirt, a vest over it. The only thing that didn't belong was the black combat boots and black motorcycle gloves that covered her hands and feet. Her hair, a deep fiery color, was set loose, falling wildly down her back, complimenting her eyes, which seems to glow in a deep shade of green.
Lifting a brow, he replied. "I don't know what your talking about. The girl obviously doesn't know what's going on."
Erin straighten up. "Yes, but that doesn't mean you won't do anything about it." She stated, walking toward him, lingering behind him before standing beside him. "She's the key, isn't she? So what are you going to do to her?"
Daemon let out an annoyed scowled, turning toward her angrily. "You knew didn't you? That she lives; that my warriors failed. You knew didn't you? Yet you didn't tell me a ******** thing."
Erin stared at him with a bored expression. "Oh don't give me all that bullshit. You needed her to win this pathetic war you started. Killing her would of just been a waste. Now that you know that she's alive, do something about it. Take advantage of this while the other sides got no clue whatsoever that she lives."
Daemon glared at her, the deep need to rip her to shred building with each breath she took. But he knew he couldn't injure her. Promised that he wouldn't hurt any of his warriors. Plus the girl is practically his first and second commander...
'Dammit,' Daemon thought in frustration. 'What the hell happened to my second anyways?'
"Look, the girl is alive. That's the important thing. What. Are. We. Going. To. Do. Now?" Erin asked, practically stressing out the last sentence.
Letting out a sigh, Daemon closed his eyes, the girl's memories still lingering in his head. Giving himself a mental shake, trying to shake loose those images that seems to keep on appearing inside his mind, Daemon finally said, "She's mine now." He then open his eyes to stare into Erin's, her eyes slightly wide with surprise, but it was quickly hidden. "I take care of what's mine."
"But sir. Shouldn't you be taking advantages of this? The girl is the Key to this war. She can finally end what You've started."
Daemon stared at her with a bored expression. "Are you claiming that this whole problem is My fault? Or did you just felt the need to just say that I was the one who started this whole ******** thing?" He asked, his voice dripping with acid.
Erin was speechless. Never in her life while she was working with him, had he ever used that tone with her. Never had he spoke as if she was an insect that he could easily get rid of..."I-I'm sorry sir. Please forgive me." She murmur, lowering her head down to apologize and showing him respect.
"For now, monitor the girl. Do not let anything happen to her." Daemon said, turning around and heading toward the door, leaving Erin to herself.
And as he left, Erin simply stood there, stupefy. This was not going according to her plan. She had simply thought that Daemon would use the Key when she was at the right age. That he would take the advantage that she had clearly created for him. Yet he ignored it. Ignored Her. And took a direction that she had never predicted. Worst, when she showed her respect to him, apologize to him, he ignored her. He never even forgiven her...
Narrowing her eyes, Erin stared at the empty doorway, not liking the way that her master was showing too much interest in a girl that should of died if it wasn't for her. A girl that he barely knows.
'I don't know who you are, but don't think that I have lost to you just yet. I worked too damn hard to lose it now.' Erin thought angrily, disappearing into thin air.
If I'm bored, I might post the other parts that I have down in this topic. xd
So tell me, watcha think? And critics are welcome XD
