She had been a bit surprised that the orange lioness had come to talk to her without a companion. Most of the newer females that met her were wary. Someone was bound to have told the lioness that she was a bit off and to be careful. This then spoke of the females drive to learn what she could and make herself at home here. That was something to respect and look up to.
"So ..." Her tail ticked beside her foot as she looked at the lioness sitting in front of her. "You wish to hear from me how i have made the clan's beliefs my own?"

She nodded slightly at the blue females words. She had spoken to Jini and Tejasvi. She'd spoken to one of the males of the pride. Now she wanted to hear things from the side of the female that Jini seemed to hold in such respect. There was just something about the female sitting before her. Even though others had told her that Kichaa was a bit off she seemed to have a good stance on things.
"I do. Jini has told me that you would be the one most accepting of my views on the world and that i should speak to you myself. She seems to know what she's talking about so i thought it would be an intelligent thing to do."

A smirk crossed her muzzle as she listened to the other and nodded. "I have heard that you are .... displease with the way you were treated with the males of your former pride." She waited for the other to nod before continuing. "Fate must have been reminding your soul of were it belonged. To give you the drive to leave them and return home to your sisters."
She shook her head slightly to replace the feather that was attached to her ear. "They have wronged us and they pay for it now. Though they are not the only ones. If we wrong each other our souls are stripped of part of their honor and must return to the world to pay their Toh to redeem themselves after death."
She believed there were quite a few females that had gone back into the streams of souls and had returned as males for what they had done.

She was a bit taken aback that Kichaa said something almost exactaly the same as Tejasvi had told her. That would be something important to remember. No matter where your soul went you would always return to where you belonged, with your sisters. It touched her in a way to know that without getting to truly know her they had already accepted her as one of them. It made her feel like she truly did belong here.
"At least they respect that they have done wrong and know that they must pay for it." She shook her head slightly. "Many believe that we wrong them by not doing what they say."

She rasied a brow slightly. "Be careful talking to them if you wish to join my clan. There is no reason to talk to them unless it is for them to preform their duties of continuing on bloodlines. They pay their Toh by it. They receive no kindness from us" She watched the other female levelly. That was some times the hardest part for females to accept. She did not allow her girls to talk to the males for idle chatter. There was no reason for it and that was giving those who's souls had to pay their Toh something they did not deserve.
"They may believe they are wronged like that and this is why we know that their souls will pay for it the next time around. It is disrespectful to the highest degree."

"Mm..." She thought about that for a moment. "I don't think i will have issue not speaking to them." She had never really developed a like for listening to males prattle on about themselves. She did understand that the males here were likely to be nothing like the ones she knew but that did not mean that she would go against her desire to not have to deal with them.
"I would think that, given the state of the pride, that continuing on the next generation would be of importance now?" She had seen how small the pride was and knew that usually when that happened having cubs under foot was the best way to fix it.

"Good." She smirked slightly. It was always easier to welcome into the clan if they were already accepting of some of her rules. It would just require that Moto accept the rest of them. The female seemed determined to make herself belong here so she doubted that would be an issue.
"It is. The plague decimated our numbers." She closed her eyes for a moment remembering all her clan sisters that had not made it and all the others she called family in a way. "In a way i am pleased that my mate bore children so that we could bring back new life. Even if i am displeased with her choice of mates." White. Why Kamaria had done that she would not understand.

She had not seen the cubs of this clan yet though she had thought she'd seen a white tail peeking out of the leaves on occasion. The little ones must have stuck to their mothers sides often.
"I am sorry for your loss but at least there are many here who are strong that survived. It speaks well for the future." Even though Jini seemed a bit too prissy for her own good the female was strongly built and had a good head on her. All the other females she had caught glimpses of seemed to be of the same mold.

"There are. Though there are some that i was surprised did not make it." She had been sad to learn that the Queen she had lived under was gone but Tejasvi seemed to be handling things well. It spoke volumes for the young Queen that she was willing to take advice from her elders, even if her elders were considered a bit off.
"If you are going to join us there is a ceremony that will have to be preformed. If you decide to stay here with my clan it will take a few days to set up the ceremony but it will be welcome." It would make the place feel more like home if she were able to preform the joining ceremonies like she used to. A bit of normalcy returned.

She nodded her head at Kichaa's words. "I believe ... i will be staying with you and your clan." She knew she did not fit into what Jini said was Kichaa's usual color preference but she had been welcomed as if she did. Hopefully she would be able to live up to whatever the others expected of her, and what she expected of herself.
"I would not ask you to rush anything. If you need any help cleaning up your home i will happily offer my help. I have no qualms about getting my paws dirty for a good cause."

Her smirk grew again. "Well then Moto'Ini, i believe i have a task for you."
She had some vines that she could not move herself and having the stocky female help her would make things much easier. She had been surprised that Moto was smaller than them but her short stout body was packed with muscle.
"come with me and we will put you to work"

She chuckled softly as she got up and followed after Kichaa. Of course the other female would have no hesitation in making her live up to her words. A bit of hard work would be good though. It had been a long time since she'd been able to do anything but hunt and she missed the tired feeling after a good day doing something worthwhile.
It would be a good day .... and hopefully there would be many more to come.
