This is to talk about the effects youve had with magic!

I was going to ask the same question, not many people know about watchers and stuff like that, in fact it scares me that someone else on here mentioned them first

First, if you have magic, even if you can only use it in "Dreams" then when you sleep you actually slip into what mages call the astral plain. Now the Astral plain is usually just like the human dream world, except for you can control your actions if you focus. The astral plain is just as real and dangerous as this one, in fact it might be more dangerous. The watchers make sure that the balance of the astral plain isn't disturbed, so the tidal wave thing was a no no. The astral plain is where magic users of all different practices can communicate, usually you have to be asleep, but you can also enter through a meditation-induced trance. It is also the only plain of existence in which demons can be fought and killed.

I get scared because when someone brings up th topic 'watchers' I think of stockers. stare

I highly doubt I've ever met a Demon in my dreams. But if I had to guess what one would look like. Perhaps I did and didn't actually notice. See, every once in a while. I run into some figure in my dreams. That absolutely scares the hell out of me. Basically, I see the figure and then wake up not long after. So let's say this is a Demon and not just my imagination running away with me. Me waking up like I do whenever I encounter one. Could be a natural reflex to preserve my safety. On this same note I think that Midnight being the darkest hour is inaccurate. I'm not say that this wasn't once the hour of darkness. I'm just saying that the only times I've really had dreams like this. Wasn't at the stroke of midnight like some would have you believe. It was actually at Dawn right before the sun came up.

As I've gotten older I've actually tried training my Dream Powers. Basically there were a few things that used to happen that don't any more. For instance, whenever I would fall from a high location or was thrown I would wake up. Now I just get this tickling feeling in my stomach while I am falling. Much like you get when coming down from a high swing. Roller Coaster or Farris Wheel at the fair. I still haven't gotten the hang of flight even though this is the one skill I've had for the longest. Most of the time I can't fly very high. I have infinite stamina and increased speed as well. I can also run up walls at times. Basically, I have many abilities commonly associated with Vampires (Werewolves are so much cooler though). A few skills that I never had when I was young. Summoning and transformation. Basically, if I focus hard enough. I can materialize an object in my hand. Transformation allows me to take a certain form as well. The summoning a tidal wave I'm guessing ties in with the whole summoning thing. Anyway, discussing Dream Powers is rather interesting to me.
