What's the best present you've gotten or want to get? (well, doesn't have to be for Christmas, can be for birthdays and other holidays ^^)

Hmmm... it's hard to say. During my childhood, the best present was different than what my best present is now that I'm grown up. Just like that commercial for a car. It shows a kid, saying that such toy was the best present in the world, and then it goes to the person all grown up, and that's when he says the car he just got as a gift is the best present ever.
So I don't recall what was the best present back then, maybe the toy horse I got that was made by the cabbage patch people because I loved to braid that horses hair, and in my teen years I'd say the best present was going to see Matchbox 20, and recently... I'd say a gas card. razz When you grow up and start paying bills and stuff, getting a gas card and grocery store gift card... it's heaven in plastic. wink

My father gave me a mechanical 0.5 HB pencil, with a casing made out of gold. I never draw without it.

OMG wait I just remembered an awesome one. For my 18th birthday, a new friend of mine (who I'm sure had a crush on me) brought me a plastic storage bin with a lava lamp and hammer. He said "I got you a lava lamp, but if you don't like it then you can hit it with the hammer. And you still have the plastic bin left over, that's useful." biggrin
