So is anyone gonna go see it? Despite Tom Cruise having the leading role I think this looks like it will be an interesting movie.

I'm not sure how I feel about it after seeing the commercial, looks really cheesy.
But then Tom Cruise is a Nazi with an eye patch and I have mixed feelings on that as well.

Lord Plate I'm not sure how I feel about it after seeing the commercial, looks really cheesy. But then Tom Cruise is a Nazi with an eye patch and I have mixed feelings on that as well. I'm actually surprised it's getting so much positive attention. Even if it is Nazis planning to kill Hitler it's still Nazis which is still usually instant rage for the general public.

Well, Schindler's List was a classic, so you really can't tell when it comes to Nazis. It interests me for some odd reason. I think Tom Cruise looks a good Nazi, but that's probably just Band of Brothers talking. I swear, 20 German POWs and 18 of them looked EXACTLY like him.

yeah, im really drawn to it for some reason, as Cruise is a decent actor as much as we hate to think of it ( the Impossible series, Last Samurai, Tropic Thunder), but my gf is weary since it is him playing the leading role...
maybe when it comes out on dvd XP

The one battle sequence I've seen from the movie looks fantastic. They got a ton of authentic looking props including a period tank. Don't know about the Spitfires they used in the staffing run that took the officer's eye. But everything else looked spot on.
I'll see it in the theater

The concept of the story was good, but the way they went about making it was just fail.
