GRASS FIELD
The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS type attacks

Choppi smiled as she walked out to the arena in the large Stadium, shielding her eyes from the artificial sunlight. After battling on the Fire stadium twice in the row, this would be a more than welcom change. Picasso and Hannah's pokeballs were tied to either pigtail on both sides of her head.
That's right, now she was wearing her hair like this, not in a ponytail. It was more fun this way. Also concidering that she had yet to fight with the Stantler, she was even more charged.
"Picasso! Go!" The pokeball hit the stadium floor, and flew back to hands as the pocket monster appeared engulfed in red lazer light. Planting her hooves into the dirt, she threw back her head to look at the light. The last place Cassie'd seen was the snow, so this was a nice change, even if she was there for a battle.
"Let's work together Picasso!" Choppi cheered the Stantler on.

Renekai rushed into the stadium and breathed deeply. No fire, no ice, no desert, no smelly garbage... Aah, this was the field for her. Grinning, Renekai pulled out a pokeball. "Let's go, Chaos!" she called.
Beautiful Chaos formed from the red beam of light. He sniffed the air, smelling the pollen, flowers, and Stantler. He dug his claws into th soft soil and shifted his weight. It was a calm, safe field. He didn't have to worry about a hundred foot drop, getting electrified, or falling into a pit of lava.
He did not like this field.
"We're ready!" Renekai called happily.

Choppi was all smiles in this battle. Hopefully, she'd get a good feel for how Picasso fought with her as her trainer. Also, Rene was always fun to fight against. The girl always had tricks.
Cassie had decided it was time for lunch, and began to munch away at the field, that of which was supposed to be for battle. Choppi sighed.
"Cassie!" Like an alert to her senses the reindeer's head rose, looking to her trainer for her commands.
"Energy Ball!" She pointed to the Absol at their target, as grinned. "Now Cassie!"
"Stan!" She called, a bright light gathering a blob of green energy between her antlers. Eyeing Chaos, she let loose the attack which sailed across the field with amazing accuracy.

Chaos was forced to step backwards as he was hit, but he shook it off, growling.
"Superpower!" Renekai shouted, pointing a finger at Cassie.
Chaos's muscled bulged as he ran at an astonishing speed towards the Stantler. He swept his black claws at the Stantler's neck.

The attack struck Cassie in her neck, and somewhat across her shoulder. She shrieked in pain and swung her antlers towards the Absol. He back away, but she still took the damage.
Choppi didn't even need to say what move to use at this point. He was within close range, and it was time to make use of her abilities as a reindeer. With a powerful flux of her back leg muscles, her hard hooves streaked through the air towards Chaos.
A Double Kick was coming for him. Hopefully, her fear wouldn't get the best of her, and might actually help the attack.

Chaos howled in pain at the Double Kick, which sent him skidding over the grass.
"Chaos!" Renekai shouted worriedly.
Chaos paid no attention to his concerned trainer and instead ripped a chunk of earth from the stadium. He speared it with his red horn, then flung it at Cassie with all his might in a Rock Smash.

Cassie galloped completely clear of the clods of earth as they sailed past, feeling a bit more confident after landing a hit on her opponent. Head raised high, she swung her antlers at his general direction. "Stant! Stantler!"
Picasso was afraid of new things, even battle opponents, until she gained confidence. Perhaps she'd do just fine in the arena from now on.
"Solar Beam!" Maybe they could keep the chain going, not lose their nerve now. Chaos was powerful, and still danerous with those claws and his horn.
The charge crackled in the nook of her antlers, and another eyed gaze at the absol was followed by a blinding light attack that could suck the nearby foliage dry, or fuel it to grow faster. It was a coin toss, but in the end, it was still an attack to her opponent, nevermind the arena.

Chaos growled as he was hit once again. He couldn't believe that he was losing!
"Blizzard!" Renekai called. They couldn't go down so easily!
Chaos's eyes glowed an icy blue as he howled. In a moment, fierce winds and snow blew over the stadium, most directed at Cassie in order to freeze her.

The grass around her shattered under the weight of the ice, as the Stantlers hooves were bonded to the ground. Unable to move, she tried to twist her head to at least watch the Absol. There was not even enough room to swing her antlers to fend him off. They were sitting ducks.

Chaos gritted his teeth into a wolfish smile. He had her now! Charging, he lashed out once more with a Superpower, not waiting for Renekai's command.
Renekai exhaled the breath she had taken to give the command. Well... So much for being the one in control of the battle.

"STANT!" She cried out, legs wobbling to keep balance. It was a dangerous blow, because half her legs were frozen. They could easily break with the right attack, and this was sending terrifying tremors through the reindeer.
"Stant! Stan! Stantler!" Cassied called out to Choppi, and the girl gripped her folded hands to her chest. "Hang in there!" She tried to reassure her partner pokemon.
