My school had a snow day today cause of our nutso weather...and this is a miracle. My school NEVER has snow days... mrgreen So did anyone else have one today or this week?

=D one nice thing about living up here: greater likelihood of getting snow days, but not as much as the prairies I bet.

I remember last year there were days that should have been snow days, but instead became early-release days. But the one snow day we got was the day that had a snow warning, but it didn't snow. gonk

[]We actually get a decent amount of snow here, but the district just doesn't like calling snow days. There are a few theories. Not like it really matters to me anymore, but...^^;;;

the schools here don't call "snow days" anymore. apparently if the school actually closes for snow days, they lose money cuz the school board gives us money if we keep the school open.

It's very rare that we get a snow day because we get so much snow...theyre always prepared. When we do get a day off it's a "wind day" or a "cold day" but never a "snow" day xD
