okay so this is a general question topic.
Recently I've acquired an Atari 2600 system and a PS1.
Has anyone ever played on an Atari before? Im afraid that if i hook it up to my HD TV or something the unit might fry.
Any suggestions?

Dont be stupid, you can't play atari on a HDTV, it's just blasthamy, u can only play it on a piece of s**t 80's tv
Plus you should have got the 7800, plays 2600 games too. Or get a commodore 64, amazing system, you hvnt played a game untill you play it on a cassette tape
(it won't fry your system, it doesn't recieve signals, but from personal experience from old games on big tv's itl look a bit naff, but with squares u can't really see it, but it might be a bit blurry with movement as it's not designed to send signals that quickly
