Sounds to me that you do like "Tom" maybe a bit more than just a friend. So what is wrong with that? As far as I can see, Nothing at all. I would approach him or call him which ever is more comfortable to you and just strike up a casual conversation with him then at some point I would so hey have you ever tried Korean BBQ? He answers "No" and you say how about I turn you on to the best BBQ you will ever have let's say Saturday night just the two of us? And I'll bet you get the answer you are looking for.

I haven't been here in a while..O.O
Well I don't see anything wrong with you liking Tom.Sounds perfectly ok to me.Taking him out for Korean BBQ is a great idea.There's nothing better for an original Asian taste like old fashioned Korean BBQ.And don't be nervous about it!I'm sure Tom is a really cool guy,and he'd gladly go with you to eat.You two will probably have a great time.I wish yah luck~
