Instead, they trade each other for things they need and they don't collect needless things. Special Abilities or Powers -- She has a special affinity for all elements (including Spirit), which is EXTREMELY rare for Fae since ANY affinity for an element is rare. Deirdre is the third fae to ever have this ability, although, the other two Fae died in accidents while attempting to work on their affinities while in an unsafe area.
Your Character's Backround:Deirdre was born in a secluded area in Mag Mell (The Pleasant Plains). From the moment she was born, The Fairy Queen (Her mother..) knew that there was something different about her child. At the age of four, Deirdre was taken to her mother's palace in Emain Ablach (The Land of Promise) and kept hiden in a dreadfully dark room. On occasion, Deirdre would be allowed brief visits with her mother and then would be taken back to her room.
The Fae were aware of Deirdre's existance and were curious as to why she was constantly kept hidden. The reason soon became clear the first time that she was revealed to the public. They quickly took note of her freakishly colored wings. Her wings consisted of every color of the rainbow and would sparkle if the sun hit them directly. Although the Fae found her wings stunningly beautiful, there had never before been a Fae with multi-colored wings. Wings of Faes ALWAYS consisted of one specific color.
When Deirdre was around 600 years old, she became serverly claustrophobic. Shortly afterwards, she broke out of her room when threw her mother into a panic. A search was organized, but while everyone was out looking for Deirdre, somone snuck into the palace and poisioned the food. After returning from their search without finding Deirdre, the entire family (excluding Deirdre's father) gathered and ate a quiet and sad dinner. Everyone who ate that dinner was dead within three hours.
Deirdre became aware of this tragedy the next morning and she rushed back to the palace in an effort to be useful. Although, when she learned that the responsibility of the entire Fae realm now resting upon her shoulders, she freaked out. Deirdre disappeared again, just before her cornination ceremony, leaving the realm of the Fae in complete disarray.....
