THE SEASHORE FIELD!!
Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze (the stadium ceiling is open when this field is selected) while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times). This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Renekai took her usual place at the trainer's podium, then took out a pokeball. "Well, here we go!" she said, then pressed the button in the center.
The pokeball opened, sending a red beam of light onto the field. When the light cleared away, it revealed a large teddiursa. "Sa!" Evelyn called, delighted with the field. So far, she had gotten stuck with the worst ones. But the beach was nice! She ran in circles over the wet sand, getting her lush, brown fur all dirty.
"Get ready, Ev!" Renekai called. "If you win this battle, I'll give you lots of honey."
Evelyn hurriedly took her place on the field. Ooh! Honey! She would win, because she reeeaaaalllly wanted that honey!

 With a slight smile upon her face, Messa walk in, whipping her blond hair back. "Um...this is...a battle arena...right? So...pretty...!" her soft spoken voice said as she went and took a seat upon the trainer's podium. She was not in the mood for standing...It had took her so long to reach the stadium in the first place. As her nose picked up the scent of saltwater, she blinked. That's right, Kiruru-kii was suppose to be thrown out! Throwing the ball, it made a soft thump against the sand as Kiruru-kii emerged.Kiru popped out, sleeping even though he did appear out of his ball. He blinked his green eyes up before turning the other way. Wherever they were, he and his trainer, they sure were in a comfy spot. Messa blinked before waving shyly at the other trainer. "H...Hi!" she called, tilting her head again.

Holding a grip towards her bosom, Messa inwardly bittered. Even if she was a ranger, this was her first battle and it was scary! Picking herself up, she squawked, "That right! I am suppose...to begin right?" She poked the sand and made small circles within it. "Um um...Kiruru? Use um...Brick...Break?"Kiru blinked his sleepy eyes open. Battle? How interesting. He paused for a bit, watching the other Teddiursa. Who was she? But listening to Messa, Kiru got up and start a soft, slow jog towards the brown Teddiursa. His footing hurried more as he cooed and jumped up, bawling his fist together to hit the forehead of Evelyn. 900/900

"Retaliate with... Brick Break!" Renekai shouted. How uncreative.
Evelyn squeaked as she was hit on the head, but since she needed that food, she threw a punch of her own. Being very large for a teddiursa, hopefully her attack was a little more powerful.

Kiru was thrown back slightly from the retaliate. He wiggled his bum. He was not over yet! "Fo...Focus Punch, Kiru!" called Messa, needing something to hug and wishing the battle was over so she could cling to Kiru again.With a glowing paw, Kiru twisted his arm towards Evelyn, bashing the air around him to reach the Teddiursa. "Counter!"
Evelyn winced as she was bopped once again. She reared up onto her hind legs and swiped once with a front paw to Counter the attack. Her mind was set simply on the food.

[[ 250 damage right? owo ]] Messa pulled back. Ow, that must of hurt! She held her fists, stammering, "Um...use um...Fo-Focus Punch again!Shaking himself, Kiru went in for another punch. His nose hurt from the swipe of Evelyn's front paw. His mind was simply set on getting back to sleep.[500/900]

Evelyn was starting to warm up. She dodged the attack, then crouched, ready for her orders. Food. Yummy honey! She couldn't wait to dip her paws into the sticky goodness.
"Brick Break!"
Sand flying, Ev leaped at Kiru, a paw curled into a fist.

Messa cringed. Her poor Panda bear! Upon urge, she wanted to pull out her stlyer to befriend it, but she forgot that Kiruru wasn't wild. Messa clenched her fists and shifted in her seating. "Kiru...um...Counter?"
Kiru shook his head. The bags under his eyes grew. He wanted sleep! Sighing, Kiru backlashed with his claws at Evelyn, hoping this time it wouldn't miss.

((Nooo... xD;; Sorry, I meant that you had 450 HP before I just attacked. So you have, NOT including this attack, 300 HP. 750 - 300 = 450; 450 - 150 = 300 Next, you would take your 300 HP and subtract whatever damage this attack does. Sorry about the confusion!))
"Counter that Counter!" Renekai shouted.
Evelyn was distracted from her dodging because of a funny image that popped into her head. The attack was called 'Counter'. Counters usually had food in them... Evelyn shook her head as she was hit, then tried to hit Kiru back.
((Edit: Now, counting everything total, Kiru has 150 HP.))

Messa was almost close to falling over. Her poor Kiru! Once again she fidgeted to not reach for her styler. "Um um..!" Messa covered her eyes to block out the view of the battle. "Use Focus...Punch?"
Kiru whined. He was feeling week. Dag nabbit! Thrusting his paw out, he made a weak attempt to attack Evelyn. This wasn't looking good.
