She had cleared most of her old home of the brush and dead leaves that had collected in her absence. Some of the vines would be impossible to move but they added a but of color to the grove of trees so she could let them stay. All that was really left was cleaning out her small alter grove and making sure that she had all her supplies laying about.
Kamaria could help with that, or she could make the little ones help. It would be good for them to get the practice in. Cleaning was always needed when you lived with the threat of fallen and dead leaves.

"Now .... Kichaa's a little odd, i don't expect either of you to like her right off the bat, but if you give her a bit of time she's a wonderful leader and caring under the exterior." She hoped Kichaa was in a good mood so she wouldn't have to make excuses for her matrons behavior. She had missed Kichaa and her strict daily routines. It really did make her feel more like she had come home that the female that she called her leader was still there.
"She can't be any worse than half the others i know." She shook her head slightly. Nothing would be worse than the males that she had managed to get away from.
Even a slightly violent female would be better. She knew the girls here were strong but they were still no match for the stocky mountains of muscle that she was used to.

"Most are a bit odd when they are those you are unfamiliar with." She murmured softly, her eyes seeming almost distant as he gaze traveled, taking in the various sights through the canopy of leaves above her. It was beautiful, to say the very least. She had never imagined from the outside that this was what it would be like inside.

She laughed softly. "She's a bit odder than that." Nudging a large leaf aside she smiled as she saw the clearing that she was familiar with.
"Home sweet home. Kichaa should be around here somewhere ... or maybe Kamaria."
She looked up when she heard voices and slid over the roots of the large tree she favored. "..... Jini." She smirked as she saw the other female. That meant that others were alive and possibly would come home to her. "You've brought guests. How nice"

She waited back with the other female as their host stepped forward to reunite with the female she'd been going on about. So this was Kichaa... And this was the place that she called home? "Interesting..." She murmured softly, more to herself than anything else.

"Kichaa." She smiled at her clan leader before bowing her head slightly. "I am glad that you are healthy and home. I was elated when i was told you had come back with Kamaria."
She looked over at her two companions. "Yes ... both wanted to see the pride for themselves. I told them you would be happy to explain things to them"
She looked at Kichaa and wondered for a moment how she had ended up with wings over her eyes. She'd never seen something like that before. "It's a pleasure."
She let her eyes wander over the two females that were with her clan mate. They each had their merits. Looking over the striped female she looked back at Jini with a rasied brow. Had the 'princess' found a mate herself?
"Of course i would. Though my home is not at it's full glory." She glared at the bits of moss underfoot where they shouldn't be. "I could never turn away someone wishing to learn about our culture."

"Even if it is not filled with glory it is beautiful." She nodded slowly, bowing her own head in polite respect. "Time marks all things and I've heard it said that some grow better with age?" Her brow lofted, head tilting to the side as a slight smile curved her muzzle.

"Some, not all." She smirked at the striped female before taking a seat. Her tail ticked a slightly off beat behind her as she continued. "The only glory in the mess is knowing that it will not be that way for long. I will return things to how they were and with new additions they will perhaps be even better"
So long as this striped female stayed in her clan she would have a new source of purple to brighten the deep greens of the jungle. Turning her head back to Jini she raised a brow. "Did you finally find yourself a mate?"
"A? What .. oh, no no no." Her eyes widened slightly. She should have thought about that. Of course Kichaa would make the connection between bringing back a purple female and showing her off.
She wondered about that a bit. Jini didn't look like she was with cubs so why would Kichaa think she had found a mate?

She supposed she should have seemed shocked by that comment... Or at least curious as to what it might have meant, but having met so many females and seeing no trace of males, she had a feeling she knew.
"What's wrong, darling? You mean you're not going to tell her the truth?" She put on a mock pout as she stepped up next to the other female, brushing her head lightly against her neck before turning towards the one called Kichaa. "I'm afraid we've just recently met... Give her a bit to warm up to me, perhaps?" She chuckled.

Her eyes widened slightly and her head snapped around to look at the other female. "Wha .... " Huffing slightly she tried to straighten herself out and regain her train of thought.
"I found them outside the borders. Both wanted to see what the pride was like."
She laughed softly. "The Princess is always so stuffy. Perhaps being around you will loosen her up a bit. I'm sure we could use a bit of light heartedness around here."
With how tense everyone had been due to the number loss and the recent troubles she figured that a bit of laughter couldn't hurt. Too bad she herself had the wrong sense of humor for everyone else.
Ahh, so that was it. That would explain how they were able to make up the lack of male companionship. Taking a female as a mate seemed like a better choice anyway. At least you were on even footing that way.

"If that's all it takes to throw her off..." She smirked, keeping that in mind. It wouldn't be all that hard to keep the other female on her toes in that case. "I'm sure she'll find reasons to avoid me." Most who didn't enjoy wit often did.

"Jini couldn't avoid company even if she wanted to. Social little thing she is." She grinned at her clan mate knowing that the other female always got huffy when she was teased.
"Kichaa!" She did indeed huff and tried to puff herself up to look indignant. "I just, like being around others. There's nothing wrong with that"
She snickered softly as the others teased the bright purple lioness. At least the 'crazy' female seemed to have a sense of humor.

"I am certain that she could avoid one's company in favor of another's though." She nodded slowly, tail ticking behind her as she glanced at the female who seemed to be doing her best to look indignant. "Although... If you were to tell her that she was the one in charge of seeing to it that I knew my way around..." A soft, teasing smirk curved the corners of her muzzle.

"She is in charge of showing you around, so long as you want a guide. Both of you." She smirked as she ignored Jini's squeak of protest. "I have things to do and so does Kamaria and our little ones. So if i'm going to be a proper host that i have to make sure someone shows you everything you need to see"
"Mm... if it's alright with you, i do appericiate the hospitality but i would like to do some exploring on my own."
She looked at the orange female for a moment before nodding. "If you have any questions i will be more than willing to answer them"

"I wouldn't mind Jini making sure I saw everything I needed to..." She said with just enough of a purr in her voice to come off as obnoxious as she leaned closer to the other female again. She was certain that she was going to like it here, if only because of how easy it was to obtain smiles and laughter.

"Well, since that is all settled i shall return to what i was doing. Jini, make sure they are both comfortable." She smirked before she got up and slid back toward the bit of the grove that she had been working on cleaning.
She watched Kichaa walk away before she stepped away from the striped female so she could eye her. "Was that nessicary .... or do you just tease everyone like that?" She poked the otehrs leg with a foot.
"It was funny, the way you got tense and all like you'd been caught at something." She grinned as she stretched and pondered where to start her wandering.
