Marcus was taking a stroll through the valley...of course, a stroll for him was never really a stroll. It was more like a top speed dash through the trees and streams, laughing and leaping from the branches, rolling through the grass, and enjoying himself as only he could.

Marcus leapt high from the soft soil. His padded feet dug in, and his muscles contracted and then snapped, forcing him up as the breeze rippled through his black fur. He latched onto a tree branch, digging his sharp claws into it to flip himself over it like a vault. He soared through the sky and landed on his feet, very close to where Rose was watering her "flowers". He inhaled deeply, sucking in the scents of the wild. No brimstone here, no screams of tormented souls, no heavenly voice announcing your sins to humanity...just the tweets of birds and the scurrying of smaller animals. He smiled as best he could with his lupine face and let lose a loud, raucus,and joyous howl.

Marcus blinked as a small, flittering creature swarmed around his head, screeching about flowers. He waved his paw around before gently catching the creature, and with a quick look and a sniff, he determined it was a fairy. "Flowers? look lady, I am an expert at what I do. I'm a full three feet away from your little flower patch."

Marcus cocked his head to one side, confused at what the psychotic little imp was so worried about. When she bit him, he barely noticed. It was no worse than recieving a wasp sting. She couldn't even hurt the hard pads that covered his hands. "You need to relax girly." He said, dropping her into the air.

The hell hound grinned and puffed air at the feisty little thing, laughing a little. "You'll live longer little one. I did not mean to intrude on your little garden."

Marcus frowned. Now THAT stung. That was downright racist. "Oi, I can be wherever the heck I want you little butterfly. For your information, I ditched hell because the human world smells better."

Ema crossed her arms and sat on the tip of a rather tall tree. When a slight wind caught her wings though, she flew down onto the ground so she wasn't blown away. She crossed her arms again and leaned against the trunk. No humans seemed to be around that she could mess with. None that she could sense anyway.
