 Asuras emerged, yawning, from his small cave. He flexed his wings and stretched, looking around his humble abode. The table, the bed, a small fireplace for warmth, and a solitary cushion seat. It was missing something, he rummaged around a bit and pulled out a small clear vase. Trudging outside he looked around and saw what he was searching for, a small patch of blue flowers. He walked over and picked them, well more liked ripped them out of the ground roots and all. Pleased with his find he brushed off most of the dirt and shoved the flowers in the vase setting it on the table. Asuras looked around and grinned. Much better he thought to his self.
He went outside once more and looked around. He gave a happy roar and jumped off the rocky ledge outside his cave. He let himself fall for a few seconds before opening his wings and letting the air fill them. He flapped, gaining altitude and looked down at the ground. All that could be seen were small patches of blue in a sear of green. He glided lazily, enjoying the felling of the wind rushing over his scales.
With a sigh he decided he needed to stop, it was going to be a long day and he didn’t want to wear himself out. Grinning like an idiot he searched for a place to land. He was so excited! He was going to meet his new companion today, she was even going to come stay with him. He wasn’t going to be alone anymore! An excited shiver ran through him and he did a loop dee loop. He mentally reminded him self to thank Alexia. He flew around a little more and, with that same idiotic grin, landed next to a small lake and took a long drink.

Aure glided through the sky effortlessly. Long green wings reached out, flapping lazily every now again, with just enough force to keep her up in the sky. Her eyes looked down at the small stream. Her eyes flickered forward, looking at the lake that was placed before her. "Let's land soon, Omni" Aure said to the family that flew next to her. The Vibrant Microgryph let out a musical chirp, happy that his mistress was going to let them take a break from flight. "Noodle!" A small, round familiar bounced on Aure's back, causing her to gasp and fall a short height before she caught herself. "Noodle! I told you to stay still! I can not focus with you bouncing around on my back." Aure snapped, at her -still- happy companion. The little corn baby just smiled back at her. "Noodle." It spoke, the smile on it's face widening into a grin. Aure rolled her eyes and focused on landing. She brought her wings in close to her body, causing her to rocket down to the ground. She let her wings flap out just when she was about to hit the ground. Her wings parachuted out, slowing her down. She landed smoothly, her back legs touching the ground first.
Aure kept running after landing, only stopping when she was about to hit water. The little corn baby jumped from her back, and into the water. He splashed at Aure, choking giggles flowing from his mouth.
Aure laid down at the edge of the water, watching as her familiars played around.

Asuras heard giggles and splashing around the other side of the small grove of trees he was resting behind. He grumbled but tried to go back to sleep. The giggles continued and he shifted and shoved his head under his tail trying to muffle the noice. It didn't work. He poked his head out of the small patch of trees to see what all the commotion was about and saw a female dragon and her two familiars, A Vibrant Microgryph and a little round thing holding a ear of...corn? His curiosity pipqued he continued to watch the female. She was quite pretty, he mentaly traced the patterns on her flank admiring both the colors and the firm muscles underneath, then he felt something pulling on his tail. He turned and saw the little round thing or one just like it, and yelped jumping backwards and tripping over a log falling face first into the lake. Thankful for his red color, it hid his emarassed blush, Asuras cleared his throat "ummm hi, im Asuras..."

Noodle stared at the large male Painter, a cute grin stretched out on his pudgy face. "Noodle!" the small familiar exclaimed, waving his short arms around in the air.
Aure jumped in shock when the Painter had fallen into the lake, creating a splash big enough to soak her already wet skin. A huff escaped her throat, her scales glistened with the moisture, making the designs on her skin flow together even more. She gazed at the male Painter in slight awe, though shook herself of her stupor when he introduced himself. "My name is Aure," Her green eyes blinked, and she looked over to where Noodle was giggling himself into a coma. "That over there is Noodle, and this is Omni." She gestured to the Microgryph that was perched on a low tree branch not too far away.

Asuras nodded to both Omni and Noodle but he never took his eyes off the female painter. Her skin glistened and the patterns seemed to change before his eyes. Blushing again he wretched his gaze off of her and looked at the Microgryph instead "Sorry if this is your lake, I didn't mean to disturb you." He continued to look at the Microgryph not trusting himself to look at Aure.

Aure raised her eyebrow at the male's show of shyness. "This is my lake, as much as it is yours." She says, stepping towards the male. Omni chirped loudly at Asuras, feeling his eyes on him. "Sorry, Omni doesn't enjoy being stared at." Aure says, trying to capture Asuras's attention again. She didn't like talking to someone who wouldn't look at her.
Aure sighed, turning her attentions to the white and golden marks that cuffed his arms. At first glance she had mistook them to be actual metal cuffs, but not that she got a better look, she could tell that they were apart of his scales. 'How pretty," She thoughts, letting her eyes wander over his body.

"Sorry Omni." Asuras told the little Microgryph looking back at Aure he noticed her studying him and he blushed again, this time enough that small white marks around his jaw and near his cheeks began to turn crimson too. It was easier to look at her now that she was partially dry. "So what are you doing out here? Well if you want to tell me that is.." He found himself looking at her toned body again. He sighed inwardly cursing himself for his inexperience in talking with females.

Aure tilted her head to the side slightly, confused at why the male's cheeks were going red. Had she said something perverted or rude without knowing it? 'No, Noodle would have snorted up a storm.' Aure thought blandly, sneaking a glance at her frolicking familiar. Noodle had seemed to find a companion in a butterfly and was hobbling after it through a lovely patch of daisies that grew near to the forest's edge. 'Dork,' Aure thought before turning her full attention back to Asuras. "We were just taking a nice afternoon's flight. I live not too far from here, and have not visited this lake in quite some time." Aure said, her tail shifting from side to side. 'And because Noodle wanted to go swimming,' She thought, rolling her eyes.
"May I ask what brings you to this lake"

"Ummmm, well I was actually taking a rest, I am on my way to meet my companion." he said rather happily. Looking up at the sky he wondered if he was running late. Glancing back at Aure he decided tha it would probably be ok if he was a little late. With a grin he dove into the lake and reamerged on the other side. Feeling suddenly playfull he splashed a little water at Aure, hoping she didn't get offended.

Aure smiled deviously when the male splashed water at her. "You asked for it!" She yells, before turning around and walking away from the water. Aure whips around to face the lake, her tail lashing into the ground behind her. She sprints to the edge of the lake before jumping in, her wings clinging to the sides of her stomach.
She lands with a large splash right next to Asuras. Aure swims up the the surface and starts laughing. "Gotcha," She says, playfully sending another wave of water at him with a slap of her tail.

Asuras eyes widened in alarm as the female turned around and sprinted towards him diving into the water. Laughing he watched her come up to the surface, then she splashd him with her tail. Coughing he splashed her back then dived under the water and swam behind her. Resurfacing he splashed her again, "Gotcha back" he grinned and laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischeif he flapped his wings sending water all over both of them.

"Ubb!" Aure gargled, dodging the waves of water Asuras splashed at her by letting herself sink under the water's surface. Her bright green eyes stayed open under the water, allowing her to see where his body was swimming. She smirked, swimming over and around his unknowing form. She was relieved that her colors blended in with the water so well. "Pay back is a B****' Aure thought before grasping Asuras's back legs and pulling him under the surface. She let out a mouthful of air bubbles, before shooting towards the surface leaving the other Painter confused, and alone in the water. With alot of effort, she went from the water, straight into the sky. The water falling off of her smooth scales in small droplets. She hovered, waiting for him to break the surface.

Asuras was surprised when he felt claws around his hind legs, pulling him beneath the surface of the water. Not having a chance to take a breath of air before, he paddled frantically to the surface. Resurfacing he coughed and spluttered water while taking deep breaths of cool air. Looking up he saw Aure hovering easily above the water. I try to have some fun and she tries to drown me.... Swimming towards the bank he climbed out and shook himself vigorously, sending water flying everywhere. Spreading his wings he lifted himself easily into the air and flew to where Aure waited, hovering next to her he watched appreciativly as water rolled off her beutiful scales.
