none of em even look like the characters in DBZ......Bulma's hair isn't blue....Goku's is insanly short....and Roshi is to young >.<

It's more of a re-imagining of Dragonball so you should expect some differences. I for one like how it looks a lot and I think it'd be an entertaining, if silly, martial arts superhero film. ^^
So I'm looking forward to it.
Also I'm more of a fan of Dragonball than Dragonball Z because the fights were a lot more intense.
Also I mean crying out loud Dragonball is just Journey to the West, so of course this film is going to be different. We've had enough copies of Journey to the West going around that we don't need another copy of it.
Truth told I'm not expecting anything ground breaking or epic out of the Dragonball movie, but I do expect it to be fun to watch. Who's less likely to be disappointed I wonder?

Dear god, I was hoping this was just a fluke when I heard about it over the summer.
(Dragon Ball>Dragonball Z>.)
But this movie still looks really really silly. "Goku's" acting looked like s**t. Roshi's character looked okay, but I still think I'm ready to barf. This is gonna give anime a bad name. AGAIN. gonk

I can't see HOW? Considering it's not anime? I'm sure people will realise that the anime of DB and the movie itself will be completely different. Movies always are. Anybody with any experience in series of ANY kind knows that any movie based off a series will be vastly difference.

Well. I just have a prediction that people will think after seeing the movie,
"OMG, THAT MOVIE SUCKED" "HEY, THAT WAS ORIGINALLY ONE OF THOSE ANIME SHOWS, RITE?" "YEA, I BET ALL OTHER ANIMES ARE CRAP LIKE THAT TOO"
Maybe I'm being a bit presumptuous, but people who I talk to in my area tend to be a little bullheaded like that.

i never watched that show when i was little, but, it seems like they pretty much butchered it.
allthough, a part of me wants to see it.
