Hello there! This is the first writing contest of the subforum, and I got this idea from 'The Epic Squish', who is part of our little guild here. She will also be assisting with the contest, so be on the lookout for her!

CONTEST

Daring contest! OK so what you do is I would start off, right? And I will write a dare, and then the next person to post will write a story about that dare. Then when they are done with their story, they write a dare for the next person. The stories do not have to be long, so don't make long it if you don't want to.

PRIZES

Lol, there will be no first place, second place, third place or any of that here, but if I find a story that I really like, I will give out a bit of gold. They will not be posted, the people that I give gold to, but feel free to write it out if you want.

Oh, right! OK here it is;

"I dare you to run around the world, Jacob."

wow, no one entered...that kinda sucks. ><

It was a long journey he had to admit. His wife thought he was insane to want to run around the world. He was one of the fastest runners in the world. He knew once he got to the ocean he would have to swim but he would run the most he could. Jacob took off the next day running,swimming,swimming some more. It took him four months and he got to china he had started from New York. He stopped to eat and ran and ran and swam and swam by the time he got back it was almost November he had left in June. He could not believe he had seen the entire world well expect for antarticia it was too cold there. I dare you to swim in all of the oceans.

But she does!

She said that. Look!

Derrigan sat in his wetsuit, contented, on a beach in India staring out to see. The Indian Ocean. The last ocean on his checklist. He took a deep breath and soaked up the moment. If he could make this monent last forever then he would. He tryed hard to ignore the media as he stood up. He becan to slowly walk towards the ocean. The cold water snapped his sences into Hyper-focus. In this state of hightened awareness, he could feel every grain on sand between his toes. He could smell every grain of salt in the water. He took a deep breath and dove.

Underneath the surface, the world seemed peacefull and serene. He could forget the fact that inside, he was dying of cancer. He could forget he only had another six months to live. In this personal Nirvana, everything was as it should be.

When he finally got to the beach, News crews surrounded him. asking him a million questions. Who was this teenager who's last wish was to swim in every single ocean.

((I dare you to... Sing and Dance like it's a musical on a subway in the middle of rush hour!))

It was the moment of truth. My very best friend, Emily, had dared me to bungee jump off the highest cliff in the Rocky Mountains. I was a sky diver diver, addicted to adrenaline, and one of the bravest people you'd ever find, but I couldn't help but have a small tingle of fear as I stared at the treacherous slopes and cliffs below me. My boyfriend, Zac, kept checking that he had good footing as he secured the bungee gear to me. I chortled as I watched Zac scream as one of his feet slipped and lost their grip. "Zac! It's OK! The helicopter's right there, and there are about 20 people stationed all the way down the mountain to make sure no one falls or gets hurt. Just stay cool and calm. This is going to be on National TV, after all! You don't want people thinking you're a wimp!" I yelled over my shoulder, laughing. Zac ignored my statement and told me "OK, 'Liz, you're set to go!" Then he can up next to my ear and whispered as well as he could with the helicopter propellers in motion, "Don't die, Liz..." I smiled and replied with innocence, "Don't worry about me, love. I'll be fine. You, however, might have a hard time getting past the camera crew and all the fans unscathed," I kissed him on the lips quickly and gave a thumbs up to the camera crew. I took three big breaths to get pumped up, then, with excitement flowing through me, and a huge smile on my face, I dove.

I dare ya to write about someone who grew wings and flew from Oregon to Masachusetts in 12 hours. biggrin No potty breaks!

Tipping forward on her toes as she danced, dressed in her homemade zombie costume, to the song 'Thriller'. If there was ever a person she wanted to kill, it was the person that made her dance to this song in the school's talent show no less. She spun in time with the other dancers. Feeling the heat of the stage's light upon her face. Her trigger finger itched to press the pretty red button on her boom stick. How Miki longed to blow up her brother's room in her normal traditional non-nonchalant fashion. Note taken, she'll do that as soon as she's done with this dance.

"Darkness falls across the land.." And so came her speaking part for she was the narrator and in her own sense the villain. A feral smile played across her face as she proudly spoke her lines as evilly as she could. At least this a part she enjoyed, more so then the crazed dancing.

Anywho, I dare you to dance with the stars!
