It was kind of hot, kind of dusty, and kind of dull. Much more barren then her common home in the neutral territory, and much more boring. Felicity sighed even when she was ever so alone, she at least had something to do, but here it was kind of bland. No clouds, only shrubs, and dirt. Dirt. Dirt. DIRT.
“ I don’t think mom would go here. . . but its worth a shot. “ She padded softly, much more listless here, then she would have been at home, eyeing every rock, shrubbery . . . and more rocks with a critical eye. “ At home that shrub would at least be five feet big, and that rock would not be alone! It would at least have four more accompanying it. “
The word alone – made her stop, staring at her dirt encrusted claws, a small pathetic whine escaping her. “ Mommy . . . “

Menes smiled a little, seeing the blue wolf trudge along the sands. "Well, this should be fun," he smiled, "Wonder what she'll do." He stretched, careful to avoid the cactus that were near him, and closed his eyes, feeling the ground fall from his body. He rolled to his stomach lazily and floated over to the she-wolf, eyes half closed.
He flumped onto the ground to stare at her feet, "What are you staring at, pretty girl?" He waved his hand and her paw appeared in his hand, no longer at the base of her leg. "Hmmm, you have mighty pretty paws darling."
He sat up, crossing his legs and pressed his nose to hers. "My name is Menes, what's yours?" he smiled hugely.

Felicity cocked her head at the weird wolf - thing. And more distracted by the way his feathers moved in the wind then his flattering speech, and how he held her paw, only when he pressed his nose against hers did she pay attention to him, and blurted, " Your feathers are pretty. " The way the sunlight played with them, making them shine and cast glistening shadows on his fur.
. . . Which didn't entirely answer the question he asked.

He snapped his fingers and the she-wolf's paw re-appeared, fully attached to her leg. He frowned a little at her, "Why thank you, although," he waved his hand before her face, "you didn't answer my question, love."

Felicity cocked her slightly, blinking slowly against the light. (Still seemingly unaware of her paw) “ Question? What an odd Helix! He never asked me a question, “ She drawled aloud, kind of seeing past the god and staring into nothing, blinked back and wagged her tail highly, “ I’m sorry, I don’t think you asked me a question. “

Menes smiled at her, "Why, I asked you a question only a moment ago," he placed a hand on her head, "before you complimented my pretty feathers. I asked you you name, love." He furrowed his brow, a small smile still on his face.
This she-wolf was odd, yet she was odd in the most amazing way. It was as if she hadn't seen him before. His tail thumped idly on the ground as he thought.

Felicity blinked her face controting in that of a confused one - where Menes seemed quite content on keeping his thoughts private . . . she seemed to say whatever crossed hers. " What a silly helix! He asks for my name, and then declares my name to be Love. And the fact he just said he has pretty feather, when I just said had pretty feathers. Silly indeed. " Felicity smiled at him, " I'm sorry, but name is Felicity not Love. And I just said you had pretty feathers. " She pointed out.
Felicity smiled again and tilted her head, " He's silly, I know I'm forgetful, but I don't need to be reminded about his feathers. The sun glistens off them quite pretty - like. " And she did one of those smiles that kind of ment - this smile is just for me, and only me there's no way she'd smile like for anyone else. " He must be trust worthy! Oh, I'm forgetful! " And turning her attention quite fully back on him, " What's your name? "
And she sat down making little clouds of dust with her tail . . . it was a snow angel . . . except in the dirt . . . and it was kind of half moon'd.

Menes chuckled, "You are an odd helix, Felicity. An oddly beautiful one." He murred and smiled at her, standing and bowing, "My name is Menes my dear Felicity."
