 Taja smiled as she walked through the open feild. The sun was shineing proudly up above. The day seemed like a shimmer of hope for something brighter and newer to come. Taja was still overjoyed at her recent mateing with Gregory. As she thought, her life was almost complete.

 Zaka entered the field happily. Life had been great lately; Tayla and him finally reproduced. His basket was with him now. Looking ahead, he grinned. Now there's a familiar mare that I haven't seen in a while! he thought. He hadn't seen Taja in a while. He gave a slight neigh, to get her attention.

Taja looked around to where she heard the neigh. "Zaka!" she called out to him as she galloped to him. "How I have missed you friend!" Taja said with joy. She looked from Zaka to where the basket was. "You and Tayla?" she said as a smile crossed her face.

"And I have missed you, Taja!" He gave her a grin, and then nodded at her question. "Yes! Tayla and I! There are two of them...this little one gets to stay with me, though." He was beaming with pride, and he knew it. "How have you been, my friend?"

"Congrats!" she said with a smile. "I'v been well, I have a mate now. His name is Gregory." Taja said with a large grin crossing her face. "How about you? Is it difficult with the basket around or is it no different so far?" she asked curious.

"Congrats to you, as well!" He grinned, he was happy for her. She deserved to be happy. As he thought of their pasts, a thought came to mind. "Whatever happened to that kolona?" Another grin crossed his face, and he shook his head. "Not so far...but I'm always terrified that I might forget my basket..."
