THE FIRE FIELD!
A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are very hot to touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FIRE type attacks.This field also reduces damage from WATER and ICE type attacks by 25 HP

Renekai walked into the field, the heat immediately effecting her. She fanned her face with one hand and took out a pokeball with the other. "... Oh man, it's hot! I wish the trainer's podium got an A/C..." she said, tossing the pokeball out.
Evelyn grumbled at the heat. Her thick fur coat did nothing to help. Poor Evelyn always got bad fields; first the Canyon field, now this!
"Hang in there, Ev!" Renekai said bracingly.

Choppi hopped out, her long blue ponytails bouncing as she stopped on her side of the arena. The heat in the air was overpowering and somewhat daunting, but it was still exciting for her. The last time she'd fought Renekai, it was with Luna's pidegot. Now, it was with her Hannah.
"Hannah, let's go!" The pokeball tied to her right ponytail was now out of hibernation state, and flying towards the arena. Knocking against one of the rock towers, it flew back to her hands as the cubone appeared in a flash of red light.
"Cuuuue!" Hannah cried, landing on one of the rock platforms, that might have well been boiling water. There was an uneasy look exchanged between the two, but a determined nod from Choppi was the confidence boost she needed.

"Hannah! Time to battle!" Choppi pointed to Evelyn balancing out on one of the tall rocks as well. She had thick fur, so maybe the heat would slow her down a bit, if they were fortunate.
"Rock Smash!"
Hannah pushed off her rock tower, and hopped to the next with amazing speed. Within a few seconds she'd reached the rock tower the Terriursa was standing on. Reeling the bonemerang over her head and slamming it down towards her opponent, if it didn't hit, it would at least force her to move from that platform, and narrowing the places to escape.

"Jump up and use Seed Bomb!" Renekai shouted.
Evelyn jumped, just barely avoiding the attack, then opened her maw. Seeds fell out and bombarded Hannah. Unfortunately for Evelyn, she had jumped out too far and when gravity took over, she fell until she bounced on the netting. It was extremely hot so close to the lava, so she began to climb a rock pillar that was nearby.
((Super effective + critical hit = 300 damage))

"Hannah!" Choppi gripped her hands together tightly. "Hang in there!"
The attack hit and was devastating, sending her crashing into the pilliar behind her. Balance had been completely lost, and even had made the cubone dizzy, and the impact into the rock tower didn't help. As she fell towards the protective netting, Hannah snapped out of it enough to dig her claws into the stone to keep from falling further. Looking at Evelyn, she then clambered up the rest of the way.
Being a ground type, she scaled the rock in no time, and turned to see the Teddiursa still climbing, almost at the top. Maybe, maybe she could knock her down now from this vantage point. It was worth a try.
"One more time Hannah! Rock Smash!"
The cubone lept high towards the next pillar as a target, raising her boneclub over her head.

"Seed Bomb!" Renekai commanded. "And I'll give you lots of berries!"
BERRIES! Evelyn dug her claws in deep and ignored the pain from Hannah's attack. If she was getting berries out of this, nothing would stand in her way! Opening her mouth, Evelyn tried to pummel the Cubone with seeds. Berries were yummy! Berries were food! Evelyn would win for the berries!

The blow knocked Hannah back, and sent her into a complete dizzy spell through just the sheer force alone. The fact that another super effective attack had been landed, was almost too much for Choppi to bear.
"HANNAH!" Falling from her pillar she hit the net so hard, she bounced back a bit. For the longest moment, her Watcher stood leaning as far over the railing as she could to keep an eye on her beloved pocket monster.
Then, slowly she stirred, and grasping at the net, Hannah finally stood. Relief flooded through Choppi, as she let out the breath she didn't know she was holding.
"Play her game! Focus Punch!" Choppi called, punching the air aggresively as if to put emphasis on the attack. The cubone nodded, balancing on her toes to stay standing on the firey hot net, as she put all her power into her fist, gripping the bone she held so hard, it crackled.
Then in a blur, the attack was thrown to the rock tower Evelyn was balancing on. It cracked in half.

Luckily, Evelyn was not split in half. She dodged the actual attack, but the air speed did her some damage. Before the pillar fell, Evelyn leaped to the top of the next one, just barely managing to clear the distance. The pillar was quite hot, so she started to do a sort of dance so she wouldn't burn herself.
"Seed Bomb again!"
Evelyn opened her mouth and fired several more seeds. That Cubone was getting dangerous! Better end the battle soon so she could eat her yummy treats.

Another strong attack, a well aimed blast of seeds knocked Hannah away, flat onto her tail. After a few long moments, she pulled herself back up. Huffing hard from the damage sustained in such a short time, she braced herself just to keep on her toes. One hand to the ground, the other gripping the bone, she stared Evelyn down.
"Hang in there Hannah!" Choppi called out, knowing this battle was more than done. Nothing had been in their favor, much to the watchers dismay. Definate trip to the pokecenter, and a nice set of fresh cooked poffins were on Hannah's way.
"Fire Blast!"
Hannah took a deep breath, and twirling the bone behind her back without looking at it, she charged the swirling flames. Then, she tossed the bone at her opponent using the last of her strength. A spiral of flames was hurled across the arena, possibly her last attack of the fight. Hopefully it would really count.

Already feeling quite hot enough, Evelyn leaped out of the way, bouncing back onto the safety net.
"One final Seed Bomb!" Renekai shouted.
Evelyn reared up on her hind legs and shot out seeds as hard as she could. She then overbalanced and bounced onto her back. She turned over and looked up again, hoping that she had finished the Cubone so that she could go eat her treats and snacks.

Hannah slipped back as the critical attack hit her, sending her into an unconsious state. Limply free-falling towards the net, the red returning light zapped her back to the saftey of her pokeball before she could make impact with one more thing on that field. Choppi ran her index finger over the top, and then gave the pokeball a small kiss.
"You did good. Thankyou Hannah." She whispered to her pokemon. "Poffins and Pokecenter for you." A smile.
Turning from attaching the pokeball back to her ponytail, she waved across the stadium to Renekai. Making the long run-around to the other trainers station, she gave Rene a 'V' sign. The small run hadn't seemed to wear her out at all.
"Evelyn is very powerful, and you're both a strong match. You should be proud!" She smiled, sticked out her hand to her. "Thanks for the match!"

Renekai happily shook the other trainer's hand while at the same time recalling Evelyn back to her pokeball. "Thanks for a great match! Let's do this again sometime." Renekai grinned. This had been a fun match, albeit a fast one.
Evelyn, meanwhile, was proud to have earned her treats. She would make sure that she got lots of pets for her hard work, too!
