some guys they want you to look a certian way or diffrent some only care about your body and nothing else my friend asked a guy out and he said no to her for one resaon he said her boobs wern't big enough how mean and she couldn't stop crying

There are a lot of guys whom are that way, but girls too. It's this whole commercialist mentality which encourages us all to reach for physical perfection so that we'll buy into the next big trend. Either that, or that kind of person is just plain dimwitted

Once my mate asked out this guy who she really liked and who she got on with really well, he said no because she wore glasses scream !!!!!!! When she told me I was so mad that I went up to him and screamed at him!!!!!! HaHaHa blaugh

wow. that's amazingly shallow of those guys.
i haven't ever had that happen to me, but the people i hang out with are more of the deep, intellectual types. i can't remember ever really liking a 'hot' guy, because most of the hot guys i know have nothing in common with me.

I hate people who are like that. It's not right.
I hate most of the boys at my school-I'm in middle school and practically all they have on their minds is porn or playboy or some other disgusting crap. And trust me, you can tell if you hear them whispering to each other.
It's not just the crowd I hang out with, either. I'm in the Honors house and in all the advanced classes. (Meaning they're supposed to be the head-of-the-school goodie-two shoes guys) I've never talked to most of them ever before in my life. I never want to. They're enough to make me want to throw up.

my boyfriend's really not like the other guys. he appreciates me for who i am ---but my only problem with him is that lots of girls dig him and they tend to be brash towards me.
both sexes are brash towards eachother and i think that's an issue we'd all have to face cool

i enjoy being perverted, but i do it tastefully. the guys here are so crude. the other day, i was in spanish class. most of the class apparently failed some test and was retesting, but i got a 97. so me and the other kids who did well, three guys, were put in another room to do homework for an hour. they were doing spanish homework and they were like "how do you say balls in spanish? i wanna say that i ate balls in la estacion de ferrocarril. LOL p***s!"
stuff like that pisses me off.

i know a lot of guys who aren't like that. although it's easy to generalize about them, not all guys revolve around sex.

This is the reason why I gave up on guys. I'm pretty much not afraid to date a guy that doesn't fit up to the way our society says that he should look like. I just haven't met any guys that would be kind of enough to give me a shot. I know that most of the guys at my school don't want to date me because I'm not a size 4. So what if I'm packing on a bit more than most girls. I have a heart of gold and I would treat that boy so well. Guys here just tend to want girls who would give it up in the first night, and I'm not like that.
I guess you could say that right now, I'm done with boys and am quite content with being single. 3nodding

women can be just as shallow. if you perpetuate stereotypes like "all men are shallow and only care about my boobies!" then you're continuing the same type of cycle that you're fighting against. that's shitty of that boy to think, but it's just a sign of how the media is objectifying people.
