Date Planner:

Upon opening the green leather book, you notice that there are at least fifty pages torn out. Where the original pages are is anyones guess. But there is writing on the page the book opens to.

Scribbled in neat, chaotic script is written:

Ah...A new book. Just love that new book smell folks! It smells... Smelly...

Anyways:

I'm the great and powerful Puddles! Master of Puns and literary devices of humor and amusement! I smite all who dare to smite me!... when I feel like it. I enjoy long walks in the forest, dislike sunsets and prefer sunrises, and if you give me a mimosa I'll pour it on the ground and expect you to lick it up for the insult. Then I'll maybe consider apologizing for that. Maybe... After all, I am a Daemon.

Hah ha ha ha... If you have to know, I'm a chaotic neutral Demonic being. I pose no threat, and I'm not really interested in screwing around with that whole war thing. I'll let everyone else worry about it and pick up the pieces later. That's how I roll, so you can suck it if you don't like it.

... did I mention I have a temper? No? Well I do. Not that I use it much. Exerting effort is soo muuch woork that I'd rather do nothing and just laugh than actually pick a side.

Course, there's always screwing with a couple of Wista's minds that makes me 'lawl' hard. After all, I am evil. I have my urges to fulfill.

Then again, what with being neutral, I need to balance that out with a bit of good, huh? Meh... I'm just awesome I guess? Hell, I don't use my magic ( ...er...I fail at anything other than spiritual barriers to keep my energy safe from being eaten by meanie vampires or other things that wanna suck me dry) unless I have to and then..well, lets just say my magic isn't typical for a demon.

-taps fingers together- I heal things... it's a tad bit embarrassing really. -coughs-

But yeah. These are my little companions I keep around me. Heck, some don't even talk to me much as they hate who I am. At least the folks around these parts recognize me as an ally instead of an enemy. Course... Who knows if they're, right? I'd hope they'd be right. its upsetting to see the folks around here cry. Rather embarrassing don't you think?

Even better: Who knows what actual side I'm on? Only me, Hjinx, Jak, and ... well, a couple unmentionable folk.

Upon the second page there is some sort of list. It looks to be a guide to the journal up to date.... There are a number of blanks that need to be filled or are anticipated to be filled.

A couple photographs of Wistas are paper-clipped to this page. Descriptions are written on them along with names.

A name is scratched out here...
Me...
Lord Puddles

Not the best photograph, I admit. I was probably rather upset at the time. It was taken years ago, so I suppose that getting all upset that my 'daemon' self is showing isn't going to come off well. Subtract the horns..the vein like tattoos ( odd... I swore I saw veins on here yesterday. Gah. I'm loosing my mind again ) ..oh and those soulless eyes and I'm quite a handsome guy.

A real 'lady killer' some say.. Ha ha ha ha!

A friend of mine since....well since a long time. A great shoulder to cry on. And really knows how to cheer me up. Oddly loves this new invention called 'Tennis Balls' and chases after them like its going out of style. Eventually plans on finishing every book I own in my library. That'll be the day indeed!
A close confidant to my most guarded secrets.

Jak, as I call him, is another close friend. A lot younger than Hjinx, but really, quite loyal. More of a brawler, he tends to keep things in line. Also enjoys these 'tennis balls' and likes to chase the spiders in the hall for exercise. I'm often reminded of the now extinct species of dog, a 'Labrador' when it comes to his personality.
Really easy to talk to. Also a confidant, and close friend.

Ninteenth day of Garvinye, 8091 AC

News travels fast in this land. Why, I was just happily minding my own business when word comes that there was a new human in town. A female... with the right genes!

This is spectacular! Marvelous! Absolutely.... Useful... Though, I haven't quite figured out how useful it is yet. But I'll be sure to think of something. But who knows yeah?

Anyways, Hjinx found old technology in the ravine behind the mansion. It was of course brought in. I'll be sure to study it more and more...if I have time.

Ack. I have to keep an eye on people now more and more. I have a hunch that someone will do something stupid. And 400 Ippuns it'll be someone I know.

Hjinx is getting anxious, Jak is getting more and more annoying... But he is useful in his annoying antics. If it annoys me, it most surely will annoy my enemies.

But that really has nothing at all to the reason of my update.

I'm finally back after my long truancy. Its lovely to be home in the caverns bordering the canyon. Such a lovely place... But there is nothing wrong with having spent years and years building into the mountain, perfecting certain architectural structures and styles of old to fit in with underground caves. Celtic and Constantinople style works quite well.

Anyways, My plans for the future include eventually jumping back into the drivers seat and...

The rest of the words are blurred out due to a massive tea stain that caused the ink to run. The author decided not to write the message again.

Twenty-second day of Ala, 8051 AC

Bloody hell! Interest is amazing when you are right. I've oddly came into some fortune after the recent events. Ralu and Raziel are furious ( Ralu seems to be in a jolly good mood as of late for some strange reason. I'd say I sympathize to his subjects, but I would be clearly lying.), and Angela is about ready to rip my throat out next I see her.

Her creatures' involvement in this ... scandal was un-welcomed. I probably could have ended that wretched, no good, snake of a ... Gah... The follow up meeting with Gwendolen was pleasant. I wish all of the Fallen 'sages'--as they dare to call themselves when they are some of the foremost leading scandal creators-- were as wonderful as her. Now there is a Fallen of class, sophistication, and humility!

( Her healing tonics aren't half bad, far better than anything I could make. Hence why all of my most potent medicines are locked away in my office--all of them are made, bottled, and labeled by the great Sage. If I could muster up the courage, I'd call her a real Witch and buy her a broom and a pointy hat, black of course. She'd probably tut-tut under her breath and smile... )

I'm getting off topic I'm afraid. The events aren't as fresh in my brain as I would like. My experiments have been taking precedence as well as playing the game of Politics.

Daemon's bid have not been received... And Ralu is making it quite clear that he's unable to converse with me at this time what with the looming thread war in the pattern of his world. This is quite troubling when I cannot get a hold of the big whig in the daemon lands ( even if I do live in the neutral territories), especially with an offer that they would look at and read the fine print several million times. But not even a word.

It is quite time to take drastic measures.

I'm going to have to visit Raziel myself. Later though.

The human girl is interesting. I don't understand her logic. She practically hangs on her guardian... A specific one. Sage Angela's first creation that was a success ( you have no idea how many times she failed.. Ugh.. Poor things had to be put out of their misery. ) is now showing some intriguing symptoms of his new permanent state. This is an old concept to me that I haven't thought of since.... Well, since before this world!
Yes, I was the one that informed Angela of her creation's odd behavior. ( Actually, I called up Ralu, pulled a few strings and managed to get my name completely wiped from the 'suspect informant' list. Heh... Amazing what a couple of fruit baskets would do.) I was also one of the few that knew the temporariness of his punishment. The lost science of cryogenics are quite similar to the punishment. It was only a matter of slowing his heart beat and breath to where he could be suspended into temporary dis-animation then brought back up to life. The only thing that was lost back in the day's before this world was this lovely little stone, Acinite. But enough of that.

We broke him out.... The human's two other guardians and my posse..and well... Met up with Angela.

Gah. Again, I'm going to pause my narrative and state here and now : She should grow up and realize that she isn't the center of the universe even if she did come up with the idea and created the Wista companions! She had no right whatsoever to force the girl to do whatever she damned well wanted! The Fallen, as I recall, believe in democracy! DEMOCRACY! One man, one vote!

The Sages, as I remember, are to vote in that same way keeping with the idea that as a group they can come to more reasonable decisions.

I am outraged by her violence towards the innocent girl. I even had to step in to maintain the neutrality in the room. Actually, now I feel that I am at war with her and her only. There are a few that will take her side, the Daemon sages no doubt.

Funny...

The writing on the rest of the page is torn out in the small section. It looks as though a Sanya ripped it out, not the owner of the book.

... I will keep them here in my own home over the course of a couple of months. Jak and Hjinx will aid in rebuilding the destroyed home of the girl deep in the heart of Asea Valley . Once it is completed...

Sigh. I'd rather not think about the future at the moment.

8052 AC

A long year has passed since the meeting of the human known as Lillian, as well as befriending her bunch of rag-tag trusting guardians. The only one that would give me a real challenge in a hand to hand fight would have to be that annoying Fenrir. The Knat could be taken out with this smelly stuff called 'hair gel' and throw the book worm a book and he's satiated.

But that's not what has me writing this evening. It is the fact that I do need to visit a couple of old friends and discuss what has been going on. News is that there could be another war on the horizion--one that won't last quite as long as the last one. The younger beings hardly remember such a feat save for those that actually read. HAH! REading... its over rated these days.

I could go on and on about that, but it would no doubt bore anyone that read this ( though why someone would be reading my journal would be beyond me. )

Hjinx informed me the other day that there was a group party nosing around the back door the other day. I was rather irritated. The gift of a fruit basket was rather amusing.... The fact that it exploded about halfway down the side of the canyon was even more amusing. I haven't laughed that hard since.... Well since I got Raziel to wear a Saint Clasue costume in the dead of winter! ( THe pictures were of course sent to all teh sages as greeting cards. I got many thank you letters that year. )

The fact that someone had the audacity to give me an exploding basket is cause enough to retaliate. But I don't seee why I should muster up the effort.

Its the guardians and the girl...

I'll be kicking them out at the end of the month. May their house be rebuilt and their larders full. After this, I'm not helping them unless I get specifically asked to by Ralu himself! ( ... I still haven't figured out why Ralu and I are on good terms considering our history. Oh well. )

.... And that crash outside would be Jak fighting an armor set for the tennis ball... Better get him out of there before he breaks something valuable.

Buzz around the waterhole is that the girl and her guardians are out of my home. Which is quite correct. They've been out for a good while now.

I'm thrilled.

I can finally continue my own personal research. Hjinx and Jak are just as thrilled as I am with this.

And... Since they've been out of my home for a good couple of months, it is time to step forward with plans.
