Tyler sighed and pulled her legs up into the chair she sat in, hugging them tightly. She'd never liked crowds, not even as a kid, and here she was with a little group of middle-aged parents and their dozens of children. She didn't quite fit in anywhere! She knew the fun, though. She'd frequented the Kids' Days at the libraries back on Earth, and this didn't seem to deviate all that far from the norm. There were games and toys and prizes and story reading and lots and lots of screaming children.
Kyle and Marion sat behind the puppet theater, trying to decide what game to play and what show to put on. There were a great many puppets, but most were worn from decades of use. It was strange how libraries stopped time like that.
