I'm not freeloading, just so you know. I visit the circus from time to time to take commissions from them, I just don't live there. They pay me more this way anyway so, yeah.
I haven't gotten the chance to "meet" him, exactly. I was at his tea place or whatever for a few minutes before Shen and Tosh went to talk to him. Pretty good tea but I just left after finishing. Shen trusts him, though and I think he's pretty careful not to mess with people who'd hurt him. Figure he's got a sixth sense about it now.
If he does try hurting Shen, however, I'll break his knees. I'll let you know if I meet him or not so when you get back we can both kick his a** if he tries anything funny. I mean if Shen's gonna live with the guy we gotta make sure he's copacetic, right?
Yeah like I said I still do costumes for the circus. But living with Shen is so much better. I feel a lot more free now, y'know? Plus, the only noise around here is him writing his poetry which I love.
I really hope you're coming home soon, Shen misses you like crazy and..you know, me too and stuff. A lot. Also, Shen told me you ran into a bear? Dude, you be careful. I won't have you whining that it mangled your gorgeous figure or anything.

Yeah, I've traveled a lot too and it's pretty fun. But I've been doing it since I was born too so I don't mind taking a break. Although I know you don't like just staying in one spot, though. And I'd like to travel a bit more eventually but I'm in no hurry. I'd much rather see you, all of us together again. You guys are all I really need.
Oh, yes your THOUSANDS of fans. I hope you're not doing anything unsafe or gross or anything like, eating bugs for money. Because that's not entertaining, it's just shock value and..gross. Whatever it is, though I'll bet you're doing a great job and showing off just as much as you would here.
I can speak for both of us when I say, you couldn't bother us more than you did when you were here. But I understand, just make 'some day' soon. And never use 'some day' again. It creates the illusion of...it makes it seem longer, you know? Just be safe on your way back.

Trust me, I know. He, must've sent his letter before I got the chance to send mine. And I just received yours so I guess now I'll have to update you on what's going on.
Shen was feeling down the night it happened so I went to get him some food, I do that sometimes and like you said it's supposed to be safe over here.
My boyfriend (Tuyok. I won't try spelling his full name, it hurts to pronounce it alone.) was at the restaurant I got the food from and it's a good thing I had him walk me home. We got to the house and the door was unlocked and I locked the door behind me when I left, ok? I'm not that absent-minded. And Shen's just..lying there, there was blood and..well there was blood and stuff, ok?
Tuyok went to get one of those fancy waterbending healers so Shen is perfectly fine, thank goodness. And as favor, could you not blame me for this if you feel like this is my fault? I feel bad enough but like you said, this city is supposed to be safe. We go out all the time, you know? So don't blame me, the last thing I need is us all fighting.
But man, if I was there..I'm not strong enough to have done anything but that a** would've had to go through me first, let me tell ya. I assume you know the a** who did that is Shen's old servant or whatever to his mo--scratch that, b***h. But he told me he's got a brother. A younger brother, Ting that his b***h-mom has been keeping a secret.
Shen assures me that guy won't come back, all he wanted were his..you know. Now he keeps telling me he's going ignore that it happened! What the hell, you can't pretend somebody just lopped your fingers off! I say, let him have his fantasy until he realizes it's something he can't keep bottled up. I'm taking care of him the best I can, and apparently that Ghazan guy is pissed off as hell about this whole mess. Not as much as I am, though I can tell you that. Apparently I'm supposed to meet him. I'll keep you posted on that.
Taking care of business in the Earth Kingdom? Oh, man, don't do anything crazy, please, PLEASE. If you go over there all I say you should do is find Shen's brother. Shen's given up all hope that he'll make it and I..I don't want anyone else getting hurt by that horrible woman. And I REALLY don't want you getting in trouble. Unless you can make a clean get-away.
I'm sorry all this happened, I hate myself for not being there. But you know I'd never let Shen get hurt if I knew there was a threat. Right? I hope you do. Please be careful, okay? We're both waiting for you, we both need you here.
