On the tenth day of Christmas, Daruma gave to me... PICTURE POSTING CONTESTCongratulations to Fweedle! See our announcement on pg 793.
Starts: 12am EST, Monday December 22
Ends: 11:59pm EST, Monday December 22 The point of this contest is to find the most awesome, badass, or funny pictures that you can. I will give you a list of categories/things to look for, and it is your job to find the best pictures -- the ones you think we will like most. You will then submit these pictures in a thread. We will look at each category and decide on which pictures we liked best. The person with the best collection/points overall will win the pod. Be sure to read the rules!
Here are the "categories:"
1. Space pictures. You know the kind -- those renders of planets floating in the coldness of space, or a star going supernova, or meteoroids blasting into s**t, or whatever.
2. Dragons. I want to see some goddamn dragons! Dragons are awesome. I am pretty sure I don't have to go over what a dragon is.
3. Crazy architecture. Show us a building, church, resort, etc. that is just plain crazy. Who built that thing, anyway?
4. Best gaian avatar that is not my own (Con). I know I am amazing, and no one can do better, but try to find the next best, k.
5. Motivational posters. I think you know what those are -- pictures surrounded by thick black borders and some text underneath. Well, I want one.
6. Evil animals. Some of them are, it's true.
7. Pokemans. Well, you know.
8. Holidays. Okay, okay, it is a holiday event, so you might as well give me a picture of something relating to holidays.
Here is how to enter:
✖ Post all entries in this thread.
✖ You can only submit one entry. Don't post more than once! Use the form below to submit your entry after you have read these rules.
✖ You can only submit one picture per category, so choose the best one. You should submit a picture for each category, however, to have the best chances at winning.
✖ It might be a good idea to save images to your own imagehost, so we don't end up clicking on a link that leads us nowhere.
✖ Your images should be different from everyone else's! If someone posted the same image before you, they will get credit for it, and you will get none. So try to find something new!
✖ The images can be drawings, paintings, photographs, photoshops, whatever. They can even be drawn/made by you! However, if you know who the image was by, try to give them credit.
✖ As always, someone who owns a Daruma already can enter, and using mules is not allowed.
