Well I do.
Granted, this is heresay, but many people have collaberated with one another on different things they have seen in my workplace.
I work at Panera Bread in West Bloomfield Michigan, it is a Bakery Cafe that serves bagels, sweets, sandwiches, soups etc. I work as the prepper, about 6 am in the morning I come in and prep meats and such for the entire day. The baker is still there when I get in, and he was the one who told me all the stories.
To keep things absurdly fresh, we have bakers work the midnight shift. They come in around 10:30 pm until around 7 or 8 in the morning. I have been there 7 years, and I have seen many bakers come and go--thats a given. I asked (doug) the current baker why another (Brian) doesn't come and bake for us anymore. Doug said that Brian won't work at my store because he says its haunted. I, of course (even though I love this s**t) scoffed at him and made him tell me "how" we could be haunted. So he told me.
Doug himself has had some odd things happen to him when working late, and no, it isn't exhaustion that is the culprit here. I will list to shorten things up.
1.He said when he pulled up to the store (after close, all lights are off and people gone) he saw a man walk in to the bathroom from the parking lot. HE thought it was a manager, but when he went inside, no one was there. Doug described everything the man was wearing in detail, so it was not some "corner of my eye" sighting.
2. Reflections in the windows. Sometimes he said, he can see a glimpse of something else behind him, OR sitting in the dining room....and no one is present.
3. Another manager remarked the same thing when she closed. No one was there except her and the baker, and she saw someone walking through the dining room when all doors were locked and no one present.
4. All bakers like to have the radio on. Loud. Doug says especially at the west bloomfield store-- because one night he heard the cooler door (the small one behind the registers) open and slam shut. HE thought his manager had let himself in, and went out to greet him. However, no one was in the store.
He also says he hears people talking out in the dining room, and whispers..hence the loud radio playing to drown out potential voices he might hear.
5. The walkin cooler. Craig (another baker I have not seen back at our store) went into the cooler to get something and the light shut off on him. he was the only one in the store, and you have to physically push the light switch to turn it off. He had to go back outside and "flip" the light back on. Doug says that he has to "always" turn back on the lights....even when they were on to begin with, they always shut off. The switch is fine by the way. Not loose, and not broken. Both times the bakers were alone.
6. Things moving around and shadows. We have shelves above the sink, high up. We store out bread baskets up there and ice containers. Both items cannot be moved around easily. (such as draft, etc.) And many times Doug and another manager has said that the containers will wiggle around, sometimes turning in circles! (ice containers) As for Shadows....I guess all bakers say they have a shadow that passes over them, and a cold feeling as well. EAch time they were alone, and the "shadow" always would abruptly go away.
I have not had any of these experiances myself, but I think it is pretty bad a full grown man will not bake at our store because of these things! Oh, another note, the owner of the mall we are located died a few years back. Ever since then, we and other stores constantly loose power and weird glitches happen for no reason...coincidence?
I also live near the old Clinton Valley Asylum (Pontiac, Michigan)...which was torn down in 2000.
Here is what people have said: Pontiac - CVC (Clinton Valley Center) - Your description of this asylum is accurate, it was a very creepy place even while it was still in working order as a mental institute, noises, people walking behind you in the hallway when no one was there. However, as you stated, it has been demolished. Of the patients that were within the place upon closure, many were turned free to walk the streets and fill some of Pontiacs shelters. The tunnels where people were really held and tortured a hundred years ago with shock therapy are said to be still in tact but there are now new subdivisions atop of where the institution once was. The feeling of that area is still very eerie.
Pontiac - Clinton Valley Mental Institution. - crashing sounds resounding through the building. Witnesses glimpsed a horrifying image of a shock gurney thrashing up and down. It was as if a suffering patient was invisibly being tortured by the rudimentary treatments of the early 20th century. Update now that the asylum is demolished and nothing is left standing, witnesses still hear moans off in the distance and intense growling from over their heads. Pictures taken are said to have apparitions in them.

And guess what? They have built CONDOS over the place now!!.....cheap housing anyone? The asylum was built back on 1878....very goth looking building and quite beautiful actually. It was a shame when they tore it down...and oh, set all the immates either loose, or to other shelters...nice huh?

We have 2 well know haunted houses. One is downtown and is known as the "Pirate House" because it used to be a hideout for pirates. And another house that is said to be haunted by seven ghosts. In savannah we have many victorian houses that are well over a hundred years old or more so I wouldnt doubt haunted houses bieng here.

i wish i was haunted... im always the one doing the haunting, though... It coud be forseeing the future or a controlled poltergeist... owell, that's just me... (I love freaking out my friends...) OK, i remembered a story... *ahem* A few weeks after school started, I was in my chemistry AP class and we had to clean out glasswear (better than doing conversions). Well, as I was walking to one of the back shelves, I accidentally kicked over a huge flask and broke it... some other ones fell but were alright. It was all cleaned, but as I headed back to my lab area, someone's glass test tubes started rolling off the counter (due to unwatched carelessness)... a few broke, and it was no big deal. This one dude in my class says its all my fault for breaking galsswear, but I wanted to prove it wasn't me. I stayed away from glass for the longest time, but every time I feel a certain emotion (whichi have no idea wht it is), a piece of glass breaks... such as the time in AP English when one of my friends was trying to open the window and knocked over a snow globe. i sorta saw it coming, but didn't do anything about it... i try to keep myself undercover with things starting to break around me, maybe i am a polergeist in training... kinda cool yet getting out of control.... ninja ok, maybe it wasn't that interesting... my friends think im odd, though... one of my newer friends is kinda the same way... **2nd STORY** (well, almost a story) He's a percussionist in band. One day our band director was giving the drummers a difficult time the day before a concert or something. My freind said that he wished he would have a heart attack. (you know what happens next, but ill say it anyway) The next day, our band director is in the hospital. Another time is when he was also angry with him and said he wanted him to have a stroke. Again, freaky things happened and the BD had to get a tripass heart valve thingy done.... still, very freaky... he's the one who called me odd and said it was a good thing. yeah, i believe him.

I have a story about visiting a haunted place, though nothing really happened to my tour group or myself. Two years ago, I went with my high school on a trip to Scotland and England for the March Break. While in Scotland, we stayed in Edinburgh, which is home to a graveyard called Greyfriar's Kirkyard. One night, we all decided to go on the ghost tour in Greyfriar's. Now, the ghost tour talked about some of the gruesome history of Edinburgh, but the main attraction on the tour is that of the sort of "back section", known as the Covenanter's Prison. Our tourguide, Newton, informed us that the man who ran the graveyard hundreds of years ago was a cruel man who became known as Bloody Mackenzie. Apparently, during the time when one of the English monarchs was trying to convert the church, 1200 "rebels" were slowly left to freeze to death (or were shot if they tried to escape) in the Covenanter's Prison. Since then, people have experienced strange feelings and such while in that area. Within the Covenanter's Prison are several mausoleoms, one of which is apparently well-known for the presence of one very malicious poltergeist. This poltergeist is believed to be that of "Bloody Mackenzie". Our tour took us right inside this mausoleum, and we stood inside while Newton told us of various experiences had within the building we were standing in. Apparently, the poltergeist sort of works in cycles - sometimes it is very active and will scratch people, pull their hair or knock them out, and sometimes it does nothing. While we were inside Bloody Mackenzie's mausoleum, nothing really happened to anybody as far as I know. The only thing I personally felt was this strange cold chill in my left side - the lower part of my abdomen, kidney sort of area specifically. It was kind of like something cold was squeezing me very very very faintly. I'm not even sure if it was nerves or not. I returned the next day to take some pictures while it was light out...well, it was raining very slightly, but you know what I mean. In three of the pictures I took, I noticed after uploading them to my computer that there were little blue sphere thingies. While originally I thought they were raindrops, I figured that there weren't raindrops in any other pics, and the seemed too...luminescent to be water. Mayhaps I've captured some of those spirit-sphere thingies on camera? Here are the pictures - WARNING: they're large. Although this may be good for helping you spot the spirit-spheres. First - Bizarre Grave Fresco - Near the top of the arc where the devil face isSecond - Nearby Building - Near top of the wallThird - Gate to the Covenanter's Prison - Bottom of the gate, right-hand sideHopefully I'm not delusional - I'd like everybody's opinions on whether or not I just have some weird raindrops in my pictures Unfortunately, that's the only real ghostly experience I've ever had. Here's the URL to the website for the tours through Greyfriar's Kirkyard and the Covenanter's Prison - http://www.blackhart.uk.com/cod/index.html

Once I was standing outside my house, near my garage. I was going to open my garage door to get my bike because I was going to my friend's house. It was kinda cloudy, and there were no shadows or anything. But this really dark shadow thing went right across the door. I told my mom and friend. My friend believed me, for reasons I'll discuss in a minute. But my mom said it was my imagination.
Also, whenever I'm on the phone with my friend, we hear strange noises. Neither of us has a second phone in our house. There was talking like of kids and adults. A strange beepings and tapping noises. The beeping wasn't anything like what our phones make when there's someone on the other line or when we press a button.
And whenever we're out in the woods behind his house, weird things always happen. Like chairs moving across the trees house thing he has. Or sticks randomly falling of shelves. (Yes, sticks. We were psycho Harry Potter fanatics a few years ago, and we put them on shelves and pretended they were wands)
Also, when I was younger and my family had first moved into the house we're living in now, strange things happens with the calculator. My parents had one of these really old ones (well I think they're old) with the paper roll and stuff. And they would turn the calculator off and the roll would still go through and not print anything out, but keep going. Even when it was off. And another calculator we had would just keep turning on no matter what. My mom said it was the spirit of the old man who had lived in our house before us, making sure we were good people. This all eventually stopped after a few months, and she said it was because he decided we were good and he trusted us in here. I can only imagine what would have happened if he decided he didn't want us in his house.
That's about all I have. And to Pizazz. I think the first and last one look like they could be the spirit orbs, but the second one looks like a drop of rain on the lens. I'm n ghost expert, but that's just what I think.

OK Heres a TRUE story. I was in my own house (its really old REALLY old.) and it had just gotten dark. It was like 7:30 and I was waing down the stairs when I heared some light beating on the drum set. I turned the lights on and nobody was there. I ran up stairs and called my best friend. (lol)
Another time I was sitting in my room and the lights flickered and my dor opened a little bit. The lights in my brothers room right across from mine didn't flicker at all. Oo
It was so weird!

I always see dark figures walk by at night outside, and sometimes during the day in my house. Well, one day when I was home alone, a man walked by the door way of my room. I can describe him perfectly! You may think that I was just paranoid, but no part of that man ever passed through my mind before he walked by. He had gray slicked back hair, with a receding hair line. He had blue eyes and a light blue shirt with white strips. He was probably in his late 50's. I only saw his top half because something was blocking the rest, but I swear I saw him!
Another time (it was night) I was walking down to my neighbor's house to but with the other little things for his memorial (he just died). There was no wind at all, and a few candles blew out, only a few and the air was completely still.
Before that I walked down the street near his house, with my friend on the phone (I wasn't paranoid at all.) and I saw a black figure walk by, so I turned around and started walking home. I heard faint footsteps behind me but no one was there, so I ran!

And of course, the guy that I like was with us, so I had the urge to cling to him, but I resisted... crying Then, we saw rings around the moon, so many black cats, the number 4, and people were following us... It was the best night of my LIFE!!!
