I am not sure what might be causing that feeling for you. I was on Depo for five years and did not experience that, and it is not currently listed as a possible effect. But anything's possible. Depo, like many drugs, is something we're actually still learning about.

Hopefully you and your doctor talked a lot about Depo before you got it. Some doctors skim over some really important information though. So if you feel you don't know much about Depo and its side effects, sit down and have your doctor talk to you about it again. Be aware that Depo can cause irreversible bone damage, so it's very important that you eat healthy food, get enough calcium, and exercise while on Depo. Also be aware that the FDA does not recommend using Depo for more than two years unless you have no other birth control options.
