The Volcano Region is a large area with a few main key points. The eastern area of it contains monsters, but besides that it only has walls around it that are unclimbable, unless you have proper equipment, and alot of rocks. The north side contains a huge waterfall of lava. The west side has a few lava pools and an entrance to a huge assortment of caves. The center contains a huge area of caves, that lead into other caves, and so on, and lava pools the size of lakes with rivers of lava. The south side of it contains the hunter camp. A dome tent is made of giant bones and yellow leather. In front of it is a chest containing preset supplies for your hunt or gather. Inside is a poorly padded non-elevated cot.

The monsters in the Volcanic Region contain: Loprey, Lodrome, vespoid, bullfango, melynx, felyne, Basarios, Gravios, Apceros, Khezu.
