Oh no, I don't mean scared as in, "Wow this is going to be creepy." I love Tim Burton's work. He's amazing. I'm excited to see what he does with this.
I'm scared about what Disney's influence is going to do to it. They might beat Burton's creativity to death with restrictions and add in some ridiculously hokey influence.
In short, I'm scared of Disney, not Tim.

Oh... Well... Kingdom Hearts turned out just fine, and if I remember correctly, Disney isn't exactly as censored as they use to be since the younger generation is just "maturing" a lot faster than they use too. o.o; For example, a scene in one of the disney shows (I forgot which one though). A grandmother returns from biking and the granddaughter asks her how the bike riding went. And she relied, "If I road any longer, they would need an x-ray to see the bicycle seat." ...yeah... >.>

I'm talking majority-of-the-Disney-sequels-and-pretty-much-all-Disney-movies-made-in-the-past-few-years-minus-the-Pixar-movies hokey.
They created Hannah Montana; surely that demonstrates some deeply seeded evil in the Disney corporation.

Yeah, honestly... I don't think Jamie Lynn Spears or Hannah Montana (whatever her real name is 'cause I've heard a bunch of times but never bother to remember it) should be allowed to do shows for Disney... o.o; At least not Spears... she like.. had unprotected sex... and has a baby now... at 16... now a good example for the children. o.O
But yeah, 'nough 'bout them crazy disney teens and their reckless life styles. The movie will be awesome sauce... And if Johnny Depp looks like that as the Mad Hatter, then like... it's over. I'm scared already. >.>

Jamie Lynn Spears is not under Disney contract, she works for Nickelodeon. Just had to put that out there. Also I don't think Miley Cyrus is gonna be in any movies (unless they want it just as a money maker), she kinda tanks at acting as far as I've seen...er...maybe its called "over-acting"?
Either way when I initially heard about this I was kind of betting on Burton twisting it so much that he'd end up casting Depp as Alice XD His Hatter makeup is really odd. *peeks at IMDB link* .....KEEE THEY PUT IN THE RED AND WHITE QUEENS X3 <3

They DID put Miley Cyrus in a movie. It's called "Bolt". It came out a few weeks ago. She plays Penny.

in which she didnt do really that bad IMO she kind of lost her accent and it fit the character. plus, since she was more of a supporting character, it didnt really matter biggrin
and the song that she sang with John Travolta got nominated for a golden globe, and u know what golden globe nominations means:
oscar buzz :O
