*Kenna's eyes misted over as she thought of the reason she had to leave this school that was now more of a home to her than any other place had ever been. She flinched when she saw the memory of her Master, yelling for her to run as he blocked the door against the monster trying to get in. That was the last time she had ever seen her mentor. She knew he was dead, only from the fact that he no longer spoke to her mentally. The tears threatened to flow, but she stopped them. She needed to be strong, she did not wish to worry Areka. The memories continued to come. The large silvery gray werewolf busting through the door, his eyes locking on her as she ran up the stairs. She feared returning to that German castle, even more so now that the love of her existence was coming with her. She looked over at Areka and smiled through the fear. Her cat Jinx wrapped himself around her ankles and meowed impatiently.*

"Come on Kenna, we have to go!" he hissed urgently at her.

*She sighed and took Areka's hand.* "I know.* she said in a slightly sullen tone. "Shall we then?" she asked

*Kenna smiled gave him a soft kiss. She turned to see Jinx staring out into the gardens behind them, waiting for Midnight she supposed.*

"JINX!" she yelled. "Lasst uns gehen!" she added in her homeland tongue and Jinx turned and ran back to her, flinching as though she had hit him. She turned to look at Areka once again. "I'm sorry dear. He's hoping he will see Midnight before we leave, but we just don't have the time I'm afraid." she said sadly.

*She nodded to him and took his hand as she led the small group from the school grounds.* "I'm hoping it won't take as long to reach my masters castle as it took me to find this school." she said. "It took me months, I had to read the minds of mortals and find in their thoughts where the general direction of this school is." she told Areka as they reached a main road away from the school. She turned and led them down to an overgrowth down the road. "Have you ever flown before?" she asked him

*Kenna laughed a little.* "I didn't know it did!" she said. "I had no idea where I was going, I caught the image of the school in my master's mind as I was leaving, and the only word I understood from him was Shadow....I had to be a detective." she said smiling. "As for flying, it really isn't so bad, but it will take us weeks to get there, now that I sort of know what direction I am going in, if we walk or even run." she told him. "Do not worry my love, I will not let anything happen to you."

*Kenna smiled at him and pulled him close to her. She called Jinx to climb up on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and concentrated on being weightless, no more substance than the wind. Immediately they began to rise and when they reached the cloud line, out of the visibility of humans, she began to focus on their destination. After just a few hours, she began the descent onto the property of her old Master, his large castle looming at the top of the hill. She stopped outside the gates where she whispered the password.* "Ich habe wieder"

*The gates swung open to permit them and Jinx ran straight to the castle to deliver the other password to the doors of the house. Kenna looked at Areka, panic setting in again, she could faintly smell the wolf, but she hoped it was just a lingering scent from when he attacked her master. She took Areka's hand and led him to the castle.* She whispered. "It feels so strange to be here again."

*Kenna closed her eyes, counting back to the date of the attack.* "It was several weeks ago, probably near two months I would wager." she told him.

*Kenna nodded in agreement.* "I would think, even with our enhanced senses, that the scent would have disappeared by now." she focused to speak with jinx telepathically. Jinx....is there anything odd inside the house?

Yeah....there is a lot of damage to the furniture, things are in pieces all over the house, and oddly enough, there is not a single trace of a struggle from the Master. he responded. Kenna relayed this information to Areka as they continued on to the castle.

*She pondered aloud.* "Why is there so much damage to the house, yet no sign that Master Logan fought?"

*Kenna nodded and called Jinx back to them.* "What are they doing exactly?" she asked Areka as the flame wolves disappeared and Jinx joined them once more.
